This sold out so much faster than I expected! Of course there was no NRD and I wish there was for the sake and longevity of the maquette line.

I have a feeling anyone who WLs an Aragorn will have the opportunity to own him. Here's looking forward to shipment of that first magnificent statue.

I'm glad I was able to get it ordered last night rather than waiting until I got to work this morning. I sure didn't expect it sell out quite so fast, hopefully this is a good indication of the strength of this line.

On the waitlist for the exclusive, so that by the time it converts i can decide if i really want it or not, and if i do, whether to go for this or pick up the regular locally! Also by then i'll know how much i'll have to pay for shipping/tax as Aragorn will have arrived.....

It's true, there was no NRD, but everyone who went to order Leggy did so with the knowledge there would be one[ based on what SS told us]....so I'm not sure that had any impact on how fast he sold out. I suspect it had more to do with the sheer awesomeness of the statue itself. Honestly, I didn't even notice the "cancellation fee" box was missing until Josh brought it up, well after I had already placed my order.

It just is(seems?) an excellent statue and for me this whole line just reinvigorates peoples interest for LotR collectibles.

It's really only due to the fact that I don't have a credit card Josh.

If I had one, I could order the Exclusives from SS direct, even though I live in Ireland.

I know a few Irish people here who get the Ex's regularly.

Darn my lack of self control (as far as credit cards are concerned that is).

yeah .... well ...... some of us eurotrash do have to order directly from ss if we want the ex, paying high shippingcosts ($72 for a pf, a eu seller charges 19 euros) and importtax (which includes the price of shipping) due to ss new shippingpolicy (no eu office) and a FedEx fee of $30 to calculate and charge the importtax which means I pay at least 50% more than you US customers But only for ex's, I just bought the Ms Marvel PF (regular) from a eu seller and saved 40% compared to what I would have paid had I ordered it from ss.
