A big day here in Toyland West; Les sent me EIGHT finished heads! I've got some quick shots of three, because I'm still looking for headless bodies! But here's a preview, and I'll have my light tent set up next week for some proper shots:

A guy I've never displayed, and he's three years old. Had a heck of a time figuring out how to attach his quiver. Searched many threads, found a hint on an old Sideshow video. I like how Les made him look both youthful and sorrowful.

If the hobbitses had come looking like this the line wouldn't have died:

One more should come together very quickly as I know where the parts are, but the others will require a search of the garage...but he's a-shippin', folks!! Les is clearing out the backlog!

Frodo's eyes in particular are off the hook. You could show me just the figure's eyes and I'd peg it as Elijah Wood.

Wow. Thanks guys. In the midst of all the repaints, Frodo kept haunting me. I finally had to finish him to get him out of here !LOL! I don't have those, I do have a Gandalf, which I hope to redo sometime, but the Hobbits are elusive for me. Was very fun to paint them at long last.
Got some more LOTR guys coming soon too. Pics when/if the owners feel like posting them, but some full workovers of those are due soon.

Great job Les! Those looks great. Faramir is a huge improvement and you can really see that the sculpt wasn't the issue with him. The detail you did with the eyes looks really good too and I can understand why you wear glasses now. I don't think I could keep my eyes and hands focused to do that small of a detail.

OMG that is just perfect.

It holds that sullen... almost deflated look you really get from the character. They eyes tell it all.
