Yup. And like Logan, Dredd is also a simple, straightforward story without any doomsday devices, apocalyptic threats, invasions or throw away CGI villains.

I love the idea that Logan just died in a forest somewhere without anyone but those kids knowing or caring. It's just like Dredd how the that apartment complex was just another day in the life of Mega City 1 and that it was just one of many crimes happening throughout the day. The end of Wolverine wasn't some huge bombastic, overly grandiose crap like him riding in a stupid looking helicopter with a bomb anchored to it, saving the kids while faking his death. Logan actually went out like a boss, a real hero. That Shane eulogy that Laura gives was actually really touching. I love how they implemented that into the story with Charles watching that with her in the hotel room and reminiscing of when he was a young boy, watching it for the first time in theaters.

Yeah DiFabio is digging that knife deeper while turning it real slow lol.

Not just look at his death but look at his lonely death in that forest....no one caring but a small child who is a murderer herself lol

Yeah but didn't he make it back to his native Canada? Maybe that was a maple tree. Sweet Canadian syrup washing away his Earthly woes....

Man you guys are killing me, now I want to play it but no longer have a 360!

I still own the game but no console to play it on. :gah:

MS needs to make that backwards compatible on the One asap!

Yup yellow costume with those vicious spinning and impaling attacks!

Bloody good time that game was, I know that the Arkham games had a much deeper combat system yet I had more fun slicing and dicing with Wolverine if that makes any sense.

Actually that will make perfect sense for anyone that played it.

There's something that doesn't make sense now that Ii think about it.

How does the adamantium bullet kill Wolverine? All it does is penetrate the adamantium skull...but his brain can still regenerate like any other organ or muscle. It'll take some time...but he should recover.

He was shot with an adamantium bullet in Origins too, and all it did was give him amnesia. Maybe evil Logan can get amnesia and become a "good" guy in the next film....if they make another one. They can continue the relationship between X23 and Logan that way.

The fast regen is fast but not instantaneous then when you compound it with the fact that his regen was no longer fast it theoretically should make it that much easier to do what you're asking about, no?

I'm talking about
X-24/evil wolvie

Maybe evil Logan can get amnesia (like the original Logan) and become a "good" guy in the next film....if they make another one. They can continue the relationship between X23 and Logan that way. He doesn't remember everything but he remembers the girl...it's similar to the T 800 and Sarah relationship in T2 in a way. The girl becoming friends with the enemy from the previous film.

Ok, just as I feared the action in Logan is making the action in X1/2 look even worse than it already was known for.

X1 plot held up ok, there's still some charm left in what really is a clunky boring movie.

X2 better than X1 but not by much, the highlights remain the Nightcrawler opening (that music) and the Lady Deathstrike battle (pretty gruesome in its own right and for the time in a cbm) BUT that Wolverine mansion defense is just very bland. It started good when Wolverine ordered Bobby to remain put, the cool music started then as quickly as it started it was over, they broke the flow of it with dumb looking Colossus. "I can help"....oh stfu, you helped alright you helped break the flow of the combat. Quick note, always loved the sound of Cyclops visor laser in X2.

Just started X3.

Wife taking son out.

Just started X3 with beer and nachos. :yess:

Just thinking there - remember Howard would do interviews the odd time about upcoming releases. Mark Chuah of HT Community would ask questions. Some came to fruition most didn't. I wonder with all the resources and connections this board had could we get a new interview to answer some burning questions.

Spot on about X2. Wolvie stabbing the guy in the kitchen is my favorite Wolverine fight-moment but it peters out fast. Pturtle mentioned the Magneto escape tecently and while I wouldn't exactly call it an action scene it is a wonderful sequence. And, speaking of Psyclops, I love that he just starts blasting when he smells trouble.

Wait for DP2. Its gonna be the [extended] cameo of the century.

If they have Wolverine wear his costume for the first time in a DP movie I will be most displeased.

It should've been in Logan, they had TWO Wolverines to make it work in Logan and they blew it, big time! Just want a new actor because if they bring HJ back it will ruin Logan.

I would be okay with it if they have Hugh Jackman play himself, whom Deadpool kidnaps and forces to wear a cheap Wolverine Halloween costume "for the fans."

Jackman appearing in DP2 has no effect on Logan.

DP2 takes place over ten years before Logan, during the heyday of the X-Men the film constantly references. A heyday we've only glimpsed via Colossus and Negasonic in DP1.

A scene where Wade interrupts a costumed Jackman Wolverine fighting Sabretooth on a rooftop while police surround the building would both serve to reinforce how the X-Men became iconic figures at one point while also finally giving us Jackman in the cowl.

...and I just now realized that it could also act as a Pryde of the X-Men Easter egg by having "Wolverine" speak with an Australian accent.:lol

I might be able to live with this :lol

But srsly having him wearing the comic costume after he openly scorns the fantastic nature of the comics in Logan would be a penalty box offense, IMO. Totally aside from the fact that he has said this is his last outing as the character. Let him RIP for crissakes.
