Guys, I FINALLY saw this last time. And honestly, this was the best X-Men movie made to date, IMO. My eyes definitely watered up in the end.

I can't get over how well this put this together. And I'm surprised that this is a Fox movie.

I'm certainly sad to see Hugh go. Between him and Patrick, they were the best things to happen to this franchise, IMO. And it won't be the same without Hugh.

:lol :lol :lol :lol

Does anyone have any idea who made this? Both sculpt and paint app?

Found it on Insta but the guy didn't credit anyone with where he got it.

Is "Burning Soul" a 1/6 sculpt maker?

Yeah. I saw their other sculpts before. They were up for sale on the online store i visit often, I'm talking about their other sculpts. Looks pretty good right? The more I look at it though, I see some things I dont like. Nvm, just one thing.

So at one point the movie opened with Xavier killing the X-Men.

A pivotal course change for everybody, but especially for Professor X, was this incident that we never see, where he sort of accidentally kills a lot of people and a lot of mutants in Westchester having one of his fits.

Was it ever a question of showing that scene or not showing that scene, since it’s so crucial to where the characters are when we find them?

Yeah, I wrote that scene. I wrote it, and at one point, it was even the first scene in the movie.

Really? Was it just too traumatic? Too much?

It also made the movie about that. It was really interesting. It suddenly made the movie about X-Men dying, as opposed to allowing the movie to be a kind of unwinding onion, like allowing you to kind of enter the story and go, “Where is this going?” It was so large and loomed so large, and I felt like it also was still falling into the formula of the movies, with the big opener, that is setting up the mythology first. I thought, “What if we do an opener that leans into character first? Actually underplay those things?” Let them just feel like it’s more like a—what’s that?

Normal thing?

A normal thing, like it’s happened. And instead of underlining it, yeah. Just let it live in the background of all these characters.

Glad he never shot it. The suggested horror of what happened is far more poignant than actually showing it.

People are saying this takes place in it's own timeline. The events of DOFP and this are seperate.

Well, Kinberg confirmed it takes place in the "new timeline" (where Deadpool takes place) which makes sense since the stinger for XMA directly ties into how Rice got his hands on Wolvie's blood to create Laura and X-24.

It also accounts for the "heyday of the X-Men" the film constantly alludes to which in the original timeline never happened (the world just ended via the Sentinels and the X-Men were never public figures).

So...

Timeline A
-X-Men Origins: Wolverine
-X-Men: First Class
-X-Men
-X2: X-Men United
-X-Men: The Last Stand
-The Wolverine
-Days of Future Past (Future segments)

Timeline B
-X-Men Origins: Wolverine (segments from 1832 thru 1973)
-X-Men: First Class
-X-Men: Days of Future Past (excluding all Future segments except when Logan wakes up)
-Legion
-X-Men: Apocalypse
-The New Mutants
-X-Men: Supernova
-Deadpool
-Deadpool 2
-Logan
-X-Force

Is it possible then that Hugh Jackman might not appear as Wolverine but himself. I feel like he might. Deadpool might say, "Hey, guy who plays Wolverine." I mean Hugh Jackman seemed pretty sure that he will never appear as Wolverine in another movie again. He never said he wont appear as himself, but then that wont be too exiting i guess so they might not do it at all.

That would be great. :lol
Even if he assembled his own cruddy X-Men team by abducting the actors

Deadpool will probably try to do that for him. He'll be like, "Collossus, I found one of your X men." Unfortunately, if Hugh does appear, it'll probably be only for a minute, right? That would be perfect

Actor Hugh Jackman with accent and baggy Halloween store Wolverine costume would be a dream come true. Heck, you could even give him those extending claw toy gloves. :lol

I'd prefer Deadpool couldn't get through Jackman's entourage so he just abducted Mel Gibson and made him wear a Wolverine costume.

That would be hilarious. We will finally see him in the costume, but will be laughed at. If you didnt know, that is what Tom Welling(from the tv show Smallville) did when it was his last time as Superman. He wore the Superman suit at the very end of the last episode but only for a brief moment.
