Johnny- did you not read the posts between tom and yours!!!! It is fun to come in here and talk about each episode but not about crap that has not even aired. Tom was nice enough to give us the option to look at the pic... I wish you would have been as nice. Thanks.

I personally think that casting news only counts as a mild spoiler. It doesn't tell me what happens in an episode, just who is going to be in it. But in this case, even though this is a spoiler thread, I kept the info hidden and offered a choice.

I don't know how Jacob is going to be portrayed or what he will or won't be doing or how he fits into the story and what time (or times) we will or won't be seeing him--that stuff would be the real spoiler material for me.

Casting news is interesting to me and I don't mind knowing in advance, but details about the plot can ruin the episode so it's best to stay away. I would not have enjoyed watching the first flash forward episode as much if I had known that it was a flash forward going in. As we get closer to the season finale, I will probably try to stay out of spoiler threads like this.

I agree that casting is not a huge spoiler. However, in the case of Jacob, he has the possibility of being a character that we already know. For me, that is spoiling the episode that has yet aired.

I do not care that Tom posted the link because it did not spoil anything. I just wish that if people would talk about the link that was posted that it would have been inside a spoil tag... that is why we have them.

I always assumed that the topic of the thread meaning "there are spoilers ahead", referred mainly to the fact that the thread is up to date with the most recent aired episode and will contain spoilers if you haven't seen the recent episode.

But if this thread is going to contain spoilers from un-aired episodes, then please let me know so I can stop reading this thread.
