If everyone wants spoiler tags to be used may as well edit out "thar be spoilers ahead!" If I see that in a thread title I see tags as optional.

I think some people (especially towards the end of the season) take it to mean that we are discussing the show and if you haven't seen the most current episode, you will get spoiled. I have absolutely no problem keeping big future spoilers under the spoiler tags. This is a great show with only one season ending cliffhanger left, and I don't want it ruined.

Is this show worth watching even though its ending? Is the story going to be wrapped up or are they leaving everyone hanging like Deadwood and Carnivale?

I really enjoyed this show. I just wish it was given more time to develop. Tonight's episode is supposed to tie everything up. At least they did that.

I have a Lost question I thought about today during my lunch...

I am assuming that at the end of season 2 Ben chose to kidnap Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sawyer becasue they were the people from his past (70's).

First, Why did he not pick Sayid too? because of the crap that went down between them?

Second, did young Ben never have interaction with Jin in the 70's??? Why was Ben so surprised to hear that Jin was alive from Locke? Shouldn't he have already known that? They spent atleast 3 years together before young Ben got shot and maybe more time after he got shot.

What do you think? Is this an important question or am I all worked up over nothing?

I could see this all explained away via the C-3PO technique. Much like C-3PO at the end of Episode 3 they will find a way to wipe his memory.

Or maybe just a way to wipe out my memory :)

Well according to the episode that JUST aired. Ben will not remember any of what happened :). There is your answer, his memory has been wiped.

^^^^ING GREAT EPISODE TODAY, that was great. Wow.

Because all good things much come to an end. :monkey3

I know I said I was going to stay out, but this episode was too good to not come in an discuss. So anyone else think Richard is going to put Ben in a goa'uld sarcophagus? :lol

You say good hands, but I say :monkey1

I was thinking the SAME FRAKKING THING :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl And with all the other Egyptian stuff, it could be true :rotfl

It's curious though. A lot of Ben's actions can be linked to him remembering the losties from his own past. I, myself, thought that really explained how Ben acquired power with the hostiles and how he seemed almost omniscient. NOW, with his memory being "erased" out goes all those assumptions. We don't exactly know "what" will be erased from his memory. Or maybe, in the island's attempt to heal him and baptise him an "other" Jacob gets access to all his memories which gives Jacob a huge amount of power. If this is the case, Ben knew what to do because Jacob told him to do it. I don't know, next week looks awesome.

You guys notice when Richard was carrying Ben away, a hostile told Richard about Elle and Charles.......so, Faraday's mommy and Widmore must be involved somewhere and Richard said that he "doesn't answer to them"; which I'm pretty certain to whom he answers to is Jacob. But then what about Elle and Charles, where do they fit in??? My brain hurts........

I got the impression that Ellie and Charles were part of some military expedition, probably British, that found the island. Richard was probably already on the island and they needed him. Richard is kinda like Darth Vader in ANH, he's not the top dog, but he answers to a higher authority.

I'm curious why Richard is always wearing nice clothes but the Hostiles always wear rags. It seems like when Richard is past 1977 he's wearing rags like the rest of his group.

The convo between Hurley and Miles was HELLA funny cuz it was the exact same debate that's been going on on the message boards for the last week or two, "Well, then why doesn't Big Ben remember Sayid shooting him??" "I dunno" :lol

Big Ben probably pooped his drawers when he woke up. You kill a guy, then are involved in a horrific plane crash and the first thing you see when you come to is the guy you killed and he says "Welcome to the land of the living" :rotfl

That was AWESOME. I actually laughed out loud at that moment.

About Richard being in nice clothes, if you member the episode which shows the Dharma Initiative being gased, when Ben flashed back to when he was a kid asking Richard if he can join, Richard had rags on AND dissheveled hair/beard, which hasn't been seen like that again.

Got another question. Juliet was working as a mechanic for 3 years right....so why would anybody let her operate on little Ben after he got shot? Did I miss something here?
