That's one of my questions. When was this whole tattoo thing going on? All of a sudden, we see Jack in Thailand and this whole tattoo thing is going on. When did it happen? Why? another question for us that probably will never be answered. Over 2 1/2 seasons, we've seen a lot and nothing, I mean NOTHING has been answered. They've gone over the top with this and if ABC and the show want to retain viewers, then they have to give us something and they aren't doing that. Personally, I'm waiting for another network to come up with another show that will be other then just frustrating. Look at the numbers. The way it's going now, there won't be time for them to answer questions. We're gonna be left hanging with a sudden cancellation if the writers don't change the way they are doing this show. I'm bored with what is not happening, I don't see things getting more mysterious, just more convoluted and am getting tired of it. There is no longer any flow to this, they just come up with more mysteries and no answers to stuff that happened in the first season. I just hope that Heroes doesn't go this route. It doesn't hold viewers.

 I have your solution...STOP WATCHING!!!

If you can't make it through a season without whining, you just don't have the patience and determination to see this thing through!

How great would every movie be if all the main plot points were given away at the beginning? Not very.

Oh and by the way, Heroes is already doing the same thing.

And therein lies the problem, its too darn addicting. Anyways with Heroes I think a true test will be Monday night. I think if they reveal a satisfying amount of stuff about glasses guy I wouldn't say they're doing the same as Lost. Not to say they won't in a few seasons, I fear they will because all the good shows seem to go down really fast. Las Vegas was awesome (IMO) the first two seasons, but then started to drag. Still one of my favorites though, and I've really enjoyed this season. Oh...this is a lost thread, I guess I'm a little off topic. So I'll just add that I think if Lost is only going to be 4-5 seasons (or however many it was, so long as it isn't too many) and we're going to get some good answers by the end I'll be content to wait, unless it gets really boring or really stupid.

Remember that Heroes is only a few episodes (6 or so) away from their season finale, so you should expect answers.

Lost in only on Ep. 9 of what should be a 22 episode season, it should take some time to get to the answers we all want. I think that people grew impatient and cranky due to the long break b/t new episodes.

I can't see Heroes NOT resolving the burning man mystery by season's end. LOST has no such definitive goal, it's a rolling, morphing mystery with no end in sight. I'm not as excited about it as I am about Heroes or BSG, but I'm still interested.

And I'm just thinking of this, but don't they do the major character flashbacks in threes? And only after the 3rd one do you have an more or less established timeline for the three? I think is the start of a new arc for Jack and we'll eventually see where the Thai adventure fits into his life.

Yeah, but I think most of the frustration is coming from there not being episodes in over 2 seasons, not there being no episodes by ep. 9 of 22.

well this weeks episode was... interesting

I hope that some of the random images come back into play throughout the show such as: The road map and Roger.

I thought that the asteroid was WAY over the top. I know the writers like to do corky things in Hurley episodes but I thought that was a bit ridiculous. I did like seeing Vincient again and I thought Sawyer was hillarious.

I was a tad bummed that the cliffhanger was the revelation of Alex being The French Woman's daughter.

...but the highlights for the next episode did look good.

Meh, I knew Alex was her daughter way back in season 2. I love Lost, but I think its official, it is now being overhyped. I don't really see anything major that people will be talking about. Heroes has officially taken the number one spot once held by Lost for me. At least when they say the epsiode will be interesting and people will be talking, it delivers.

I couldn't have said it better. They hyped the episode with something we've known for over a year. Give me a f'n break! I am no where near ready to stop watching, but this show has lost the ability to call itself 'great'.

Heroes on the otherhand is getting better and better each week.

DIdn't get to see the show last night because of storms in the area that they had to keep the weather on. Tornado's will do that ya know. :lol

The girl being the French Lady's is no shock to us watching all the time but it's still a piece to the puzzle. I do think ABC is playing things up too much but what's being done on the show I do find very interesting to me at least the show is still "great".

I've tried to catch some of Heroes but it just does nothing for me. I find it kind of "meh" actually to me. I'm sure it's a great show for those that like to watch it every week, but it's not my cup of tea.

I enjoyed the episode too because of the humour in it. And that asteroid was over the top, but I guess a gas explosion or something would have been too obvious and they wanted to give us something to gasp about. And as for the end revelation...I only knew because someone suggested it on here, otherwise it went over my head. Although I don't spend much time thinking, hypothesizing, and trying to guess what's going on. And on the topic of the french lady...she's got really bad aim...

It was so nice to see most of the cast featured this week! It has been such a long time since we had an episode like this, showing a day in the life of the main group with nice little contributions from everybody. Locke was still not featured enough for me, but I know he has a flashback coming up soon so I will be patient. He has been one of the most popular and intriguing characters in the past, and season three has left him with little to do so far.

I think they knew that we were aware that Alex was Rousseau's daughter. It was just nice that Kate went straight to her and told her. Sometimes it is frustrating on this show when characters don't share information with each other that would advance the plot. I like that in this case, as soon as Kate got back she immediately went straight to the person involved and told her what she had learned. That is realistic and needs to happen more often. Any week now, the producers are apparently going to be dropping "a bomb" on the audience with a major event/revelation. I wonder what's going to happen...

And that road map that Sawyer found could prove useful in the future. They like to plant little things like that. (Although I have a theory that it is not a road map, but a map of the tunnels used by the black smoke/security system.)

And I am looking forward to meeting Mr. Eye Patch next week. Does somebody still have his false eye from the Tail Section Hatch? I've lost track...

This was by far the most humorous episode yet, or at least that I can remember - Sawyer was in fine form. :lol

Aside from that however, there was little or nothing to advance the storyline ---- I mean, nothing!

Sure it was nice seeing everybody back at the beach, even "hey'you" and "c'mere;" but beyond that ... well, what was it that ABC said we would be talking about?!

Waiting .........

yes, REALLY annoyed me. The trailer said something like "part that will have you talking in the morning." Like Jesus Chr!$t, we knew alex was roussou's daughter for a LONG time, was THAT the "moment"...baaaaa, show is starting to jump the shark for me. This season especially, because they have 2 sections of the show now, jack with the others, and the main losites on the beach. they have to break up the show into two slots now, before it was just one main group, but not anymore. that leaves for less story, which makes me angry. I'm tired, I'm ranting, but Lost is annoying me.

I still watch LOST but I don't look forward to it like I do Heroes, BSG or Smallville. It could go off tomorrow and I really wouldn't care. But I love the Hurley episodes - and this one was one of the better of those.

I think its funny that the show has a buncha people on a deserted island, an yet there's more cast members now than when it started.

Think the show is finially

if you get my meaning....

Again, I have no problem with how the show is progressing... I really enjoyed last night's episode.

I laughed out loud when Hurley thought Roger's last name was "Workman". And it was a nice touch that they used the song "Shambala" in the episode. Very appropriate.

My only problem was that there is no way that bus would have started up again after 20+ years of sitting there in the jungle. The wiring would have rotted, the battery would have drained and the gas probably would spilled out from being on its side. I know it's picking nits, but still...

Suppose you could say that Hurley wanted the van to run. Since he wanted it bad enough, the island made it happen (if you follow the theory that the island has powers). And Batty, what are you doing bringing logic to a LOST thread......?
