There was a time when I thought that Sawyer would replace MiB, but that has long since past. I mean, come on. Sawyer as the embodiment of EVIL? Claire? Seriously? The em-BODY-MEANT of EVIL? (emphasis and misspelling intentional)

Nah. MiB won't die or be replaced.

DOesn't mean MiB wasn't like that in the beginning...maybe he grew into it. I think we will find out tonight though.

Video not working. :(

Something Sexy, my impression is that MiB is nothing more than a liar. So I am not sure that I believe him when he says he was once a man. I can see it though and I hope we catch more of his back story in whats left of the future episodes.

Well tonight's episode will have him and Jacob "talking" again, so it should be interesting as to what they are "talking" about

What if all of the characters on the island are meant to die?

What if it's the only way to bring balance to the universe?

What if it's the way that we'll get both the shock of seeing them die on the island and the satisfaction that they still live (in the sideways world)?

They keep showing us the redemption of the characters.

What if at the end of the series it's Jack and Locke sitting on the beach, having the same conversation that Jacob and MIB were having way back when? The whole "come full circle" idea, if you will.

What if I don't know what the heck I'm talking about?...

;)

I know how it will all end!!!

Pamela Ewing will wake up and find that it was all a dream, while sharing a shower with Bobby Ewing and Peter Griffin! :nana: :nana: :nana:

There is 8 covers of this weeks EW one with each of the characters...im attempting to get them all.

I have a subscription to Entertainment Weekly...and they sent me the John Locke cover. But yeah, I'd like to get the other covers too. I wonder if they link together into one picture? Anyone know?

:rock

The Skeletons identity was an awesome reveal! perfect

So many answers and confirmations of theories. Amazing ep that we've all wanted for a long time. Beautiful how they tied so many past storylines together. I knew this show wouldn't disappoint.

So we pretty much have most of the "burning" questions answered I'd say. I liked the one response though:

Any question I answer will only lead to another question.

Great episode tonight. They really hit on a lot of questions we have had for years. Man, only a couple weeks left.

I sure am going to miss this show.

So, I guess it's safe to say the Man in Black doesn't have a name then? Considering his mother never had a name for him, plus the fact he was referred to as "him" or "brother" the whole episode.

I'd assume not. This is one that is going to need to be rewatched over and over to really understand EVERYTHING going on.

A lot to chew on in this one.
The explanation of what the island is from "Mother" was quite different from the one Jacob gave Richard.
Most interesting line IMO was "you don't really have a choice."

One of the fastest hours in television ever.

I think the function of the island changed when Jacob threw his brother into the light. It was no longer about protecting "the source." It became about keeping the smoke in.
