I dunno, I want to see the caves again too.

I loved the globe hopping backstory. I loved the polar bear.

did you notice the symbol on the collar of the polar bear? looked like hydra......& i dont think that section of dharma has been revealed yet has it?

It's the Orchid symbol I believe. That was the station that deals with time travel as per the SDCC reel shown this past year.

Entropy, could you give us a summation thus far of the Find 815 game for those of us not playing?

Okay...

Basically you follow this Australian IT engineer Sam Thomas (the guy who hacks into the Oceanic tv spots recently) who lost the love of his life on Flight 815. He speaks out against Oceanic and is fired. He then get a mysterious email that leads him to get aboard the Christiane I. Through 5 chapters as Sam you complete tasks and search for clues. The biggest of which is that he got the mysterious email from The Maxwell Group, a division of Widmore Industries. He then gets another email from Maxwell/Widmore with lat/long co-ordinates, they go to that place, the Sundra trench in the Pacific, and in the last task you as Sam operate the remote underwater cam that discovers the wreckage of Oceanic flight 815!

And what was up with the ghost whispering Miles Straume and his weird vacuum?? Who was the ghost he was talking to?
Obviously he has some kind of Shinning power like Walt so it figures that his companions also study paranormal stuff... more dharma researchers.

So it looks like Dharma/Widmore has staged the 815 wreckage to throw the world off the search for some reason so they can exploit the island without attention or whathaveyou.

Also the French newspaper declaring Flight 815 recovered has at the top "le lavage de cerveaux en liberie" which means something about brainwashing.

Ok, no, it wasn't Orchid. It IS from the Hydra station. Thanks Entropy for the cap and Wiki for some jolts to get my mind in the right place.

I liked how Hurley is now also "connected" to the island since he can see the cabin like Ben and Locke, even though he probably thought he was hallucinating. When Locke asked Hurley about the cabin and Hurley played it off like he was talking about the plane cabin you could seen Ben caught on to it right away. It should be interesting to see how Ben will try to use that to his advantage.

I love how Hurley just mentioning the cabin adds a mystery. It only took a line or two of screen time and suddenly you get this great moment. This show is so much fun.

EDIT: I just realized. What the hell happened to stewardess Cindy Chandler and the kids The Others kidnapped??

Assuming Cindy and the kids are still in with the Others (you know, just off screen) then they are headed to the Temple. We won't be seeing Richard though:monkey2

Ah yeah, the temple. Wonder when and how that will come into play. Prolly related to the 4 toed statue.

Something I thought of.. did Jack, Kate or Sawyer ever say they saw Cindy and the kids when they were captive? Hurley said "48 of us survived the crash, not counting the people from the tail, but their mostly dead now."

I don't recall them ever mentioning what happened while captive, certainly not Cindy. Maybe it's one of those things we're supposed to assume they discussed during the commercial breaks perhaps. It always bothers me how little they share information with each other.

I think that the temple was built my natives who arrive and worshipped the island. Like richard, they truly don't understand it and thought ben was their leader because he could "talk" to jacob; I honestly don't think he can, but the natives don't know that he can't do it.

"le lavage de cerveaux en liberie" == the washing of brains in libery. That was from altavista translation, whatever that means.

I'm just curious as to the people who landed on the island. Did the same guy who went to Hurley work for Dharma? Did he hire these people to grab Ben off the island so they could ask him what happened to their initiative? That's what I think personally.

I'm glad they put one of last weeks episodes on last night. I couldn't get it to play on my computer and stupid ABC never e-mailed me back. Anyways this show has gotten too complex for me to keep up with it very well. I really need to watch all the seasons over again but I don't have enough time. It is entertaining though, I can't wait to see how it all comes out. How many more seasons are there? I hope they don't stretch it out too much, last nights episode felt like we didn't really go anywhere.

There are supposed to be three seasons left, with 16 episodes each. But they only completed 8 episodes for this season. The writers' strike has messed up their plans and they haven't said how they are going to proceed from here. My guess is they will work to give us the last half of season four in the fall, and then after a break we will get 16 episodes of season five next February.

Could it mean in Liberia?

Did the same guy who went to Hurley work for Dharma?

Charles Widmore---> Maxwell Group ---> Paik Heavy Industries---> Hanso Foundation---> Thomas Mittelwerk---> Dharma---> Matthew Abaddon---> Naomi Dorrit, Daniel Faraday, Miles Straume, Charlotte Lewis, Frank Lapidus

Mittelos Bioscience ---> Richard Halpert, Ethan Rom, Juliette Burke

I wouldn't be surprised if Mittelos is somehow related to or an offshoot of Dharma.

Widmore is behind everything. And somehow Alvar Hanso fits into all of this, the powerful force of good opposed to evil Widmore and Dharma... Jacob??

Behind all the mysteries I think this is ultimately a good conquering evil, triumph of love, redemption and loss of magic story... basically Shakespeare's The Tempest. Trapped between space and time as a "phantom", I think Jacob/Hanso is the Prospero of this story.

Also, I'm going to guess that Ben's man on the boat is George Minkowski, the voice we heard on the sat phone. "Minkowski" is the name of a German mathematician. The space which is named after him is a hyper-dimensional manifold in which Einstein's equations for special relativity are perfectly solvable.
