Would love to watch Tim pitch....My Braves are struggling offensively right now....We just have no identity. 1 SB for the entire team. .229 team BA and we're close to last in almost every offensive category in the NL. Maybe Hanson can turn his early woes around tonight. He's looked far less than stellar so far this season.

Hey Lex, speaking of your team, how do you feel about going into the season with out Bobby Cox? Is it a little unnerving in ways? He's done such an amazing job for so long now...

I'm proud to say that I saw him get the boot for the very last time in the NLDS against the Giants last year... A game the Braves ended up winning. :lol

I've never seen Timmy pitch live. When I was in SF for vacation a couple seasons ago he was scheduled but ended up being sick or very minorly injured and they skipped his start. I was so disappointed.

I should be seeing the Giants at least once or twice this year so I should have about a 20%-40% chance of seeing him, so we shall see.

Next Rox game I am going to is the 16th vs the Cubbies. Last year against the Cubbies we had the now famous CarGo walkoff HR cycle game as well as the game where the Rockies set the MLB record of 11 straight hits in an inning. Dusty Baker hates coming to Colorado. :lol Bobby Cox hates CO too.

Edit. I said Dusty Baker, meant Lou Pinella. They all hate CO.

Tim's games usually fly by. I took my son to his first game two years ago v. the Phills right after they traded for Cliff Lee. At one point they were thinking about giving him his first start v. Lincecum. They didn't but I would have loved to tell my son that his first Giants game (or baseball game for that matter) was against the defending WS champs and the starting pitchers were both the NL and AL Cy Young award winners from the prior year... Anyway, Tim threw 8 innings, Wilson retired the side in the 9th and the game was over in just over two hours.:panic:

11 hits in a row? Damn.

No, that's the wrong Timmy.... This guy looks to be an Arsenal fan though. :nana:

Nope..clearly a Spud. :)

HOLY CRAP IT WAS WINDY LAST NIGHT!!

Great game though! Wilson looked fantastic striking out the side in the 9th. Timmy wasn't all that sharp but we put together some runs and the pen took care of the rest. I love baseball! :rock

That was a great game, even for me!

Tim was off to a great start. Looking real good for the first 3 innings.
He was looking tired in the 4th, though.

I love how he was able to pull off that amazing out to first. This is the one where he juggled the comebacker, turned around to grab the ball, then a quick snap to first while on his knees.

Kemp and Gwynn are still on fire, but we need Ethier to step up a bit.

Our boys in blue didn't pull through but I always enjoy a good ballgame.

Could you believe I missed that play, Lincecum's throw on his knees, because I was looking a text from my wife? :gah::cuckoo::dunno:panic:

Kemp is a stud. Mota getting out of that two on one out jam with Kemp on third might have been the most important moment in that game.

Aaah, bud. Sorry to hear that. It WAS a great play.

Yeah, Mota has his moments. I remember when he was wearing blue not too long ago. :)

Also, Timmy's got a thing for Uribe. Second love tap this season. :lol :lol

What a great sport.
Enjoy the game tonight. :duff

I bet Timmy would have a mean spitball.... :rotfl:rotfl

Sorry..I don't really follow baseball but i can't get the image of timmy from south park pitching.... after every strike he'd yell out "TIMMY!!!"

"TIMMY!!!"

edit: and I have no idea who this other timmy is that you speak of...like I said..don't really follow baseball.

How should stop watching Le Arse and start watching the San Francisco Giants. :lecture

It's a sad day when you're excited by a rainout. The Sox also said they're going to skip Lackey's start.:yess:

I have a friend from college who used to work for the SF Giants.. Worked in public relations I think. Just know he always posted pics of him and Barry Bonds...
