The only people who hate that movie who's opinions even count to me are those who are diehard fans of the original Alan Moore/Dave Gibbons work and have problems with the changes. But even most diehard WATCHMEN fans like the movie. It's mostly the "Oh noes! Blue *****!!" who should **** off.

I think Watchmen is a good film, and I love the original comic. The only problem I have is that the change of making Manhattan look like the villain actually doesn't work logically. Qzy says it would unite the world against a common foe, but the common foe would not be Manhattan it would be America. It was their dog that got off the leash and attached everyone. Thats my only problem with the film. And the weirdly long sex scene.

Sucker Punch is better than most people give it credit for being. I own it and enjoy it.

I was excited when I heard Snyder was directing MoS. The guy has an eye for action. He frames it well, and his slowmo/speed up is just as prominent as Abrams lense flares, and not nearly as annoying.

I'm excited to see what he does with this.

I'd agree with that if NYC wasn't also wiped off the map. There would surely be skepticism, but in such a scenario it would still be a common threat.

I just think even with NYC being blown up, their anger would still fall back on America. A situation of how could you let this happen? You had to know? That's my reason for wanting the squid back. But it still works on some levels.

Either way I still enjoy the film, and can't wait for MoS. I hope this movie rocks, and that the HT figures blow me away as well.

But where TLC is a good movie, Raiders is a bonafide classic.

Watchmen hate is a new thing now. It's been bubbling up for the past year or two.

Theres always been hate over the changes. Its sad that one of the most faithful adaptions gets so much **** over a change that makes much more sense imo.

While some of the material does work better on the page, Watchmen was still a very good film and adaptation.
