Well for starters I'm seeing the actual discussion we were having. Of course the figure uses a WM helmet. However the Hasbro 1:1 helmet, which is what we were talking about, painted this Future Fight design on their Iron Man MK7 helmet mold.

(I'd love to see what was edited out. lol)
Sorry if I ruffled your feathers. I didn't go back a page and see the 1:1 helmet. I saw your remark around the figure photos. That's why I politely asked. Having gone back and seeing the 1:1 helmet, I agree with you. That's just a cop out. Anyone who's buying these is going to see it's not the right helmet. War Machine helmets are different than Iron Man helmets. Tony never wore a WM styled helmet, but came close in IM3 when trying to jump into Hot Rod. Then again, that's just movie reference, I don't know about the comics or games.

Body is mark III with mark I shoulder pads I think. Some of the weapons are brand new though.

Thanks. Considering what the Mk 3 goes for now, I think I'll be fine with this as a substitute for it then. Plus, the skull will make it stand out more next to the Mk 1 and 4, IMO.

Great. Got a message from SS that it?s delayed. What did I expect? I was hoping they would pull off an IW War Machine on this one. [emoji35]

I haven't got a delay notice yet. I'm looking at his page on SS and it is the same January 2020-March 2020 time frame it's been for all of 2019.

My last payment was going to be charged on February 5th and they moved it to March 5th. I mean it?s still in the release?s date range (Jan-Mar 2020). I?m crossing my fingers it doesn?t have too much of a delay. I pre-ordered a JL Superman in January 2018. It was supposed to be released in January 2019. It?s almost February 2020, and it still hasn?t been released in the US. [emoji23]

That makes sense. If it hasn't released in Hong Kong yet, then it is not getting to SS by early February. If this gets released in Hong Kong before February ends, and you factor in the typical 4-5 week delay between HK's release and SS getting their shipment, then this not getting to SS until March lines up time-wise.

I'm considering cancelling this. I really like the look but I'm not sure there's a spot on my shelf for it.

I feel like they're going to get tons of cancellations over the coronavirus delays. Especially since you can get your NRD back if the figure is delayed 90 days. Might as well hold out until then to cancel.

My first cancellation from SS was the reissued Mark 43. I had that on preorder for nearly six months before cancelling back in December 2019. I was surprised that I got my NRD back as well. I cancelled that order with the full expectation that I wasn't getting the NRD back. I wondered if that was a one-time courtesy or if it was some new policy SS enacted that I wasn't aware of.

I thought they refund the NRD if the item becomes delayed period. Or have they changed it to 90 days recently?

And here I am with 7 POs with 0 spot left on any type of shelf and no option to cancel :lol (unless I find a buyer for the PO receipt, it's how things are here).
Joking aside, I am still excited for this and hope it'll be release soon.

I read about that 90 day thing, and I'm not sure how long the Captain Marvel was delayed for but they didn't deny me either way... but they did try to talk me out of it with smooth talk like "it's highly anticipated, a lot of people looking forward to it"

I see. I went ahead and contacted SS today about the Punisher WM, asking if I am eligible to receive my NRD refund. Waiting for their reply now...

Was hoping they?d pull a War Machine Mk4 for this one (early release... released about 2-3 months early), but no cigar. Here?s hoping they don?t pull a JL Superman on this, a figure I pre-ordered in January 2018 (you read that right) that was supposed to be released in January 2019. It?s March 2020, for crying out loud, and SS keeps pushing the release date back.

I am sure it's not Sideshow's fault. With China and Hong Kong having factories shut down this is no surprise. It sucks for sure but hopefully everything will get back on track soon and that the Corona Virus will be contained. It sucks for all people affected by the virus and hopefully they will be able to survive and come out stronger after this.
