I wont see it if its miles morales. You come all this way to use him? Why? There is no reason why he should be used. Lets put Terry as batman in the justice league movie then. As a person of color I find it silly to change a race of a character to make people feel connected to him when we have many diverse characters already. just do them. Whats so hard about using the diverse characters that are already out.

Watch it be jaden smith. I swear that would be such a dumb move to get your flagship back just to use an alternate version of the character.

Ah yes and Miles is an amazing character but you cant just swap him out like that. The majority of people screaming for miles dont know a thing about spiderman. Its like having **** grayson as batman first. Miles and peter are two totally different characters, just because they are both spiderman doesnt mean they can swapped out.

Very bad idea. This is a reboot of Spiderman so it really should be Peter Parker considering he is the original Spiderman, yes? Bring this Miles fellow in later if you want but you can't start off with him.

Using Miles would be like Marvel finally getting Wolverine back, and then making him an Inhuman anyway.

It won't be a dealbeaker and I won't boycott a Russo Bros Civil War because of it, but yeah it'd be pretty dumb.

I don't see it happening. Parker strikes more of a story than Morales. Besides, it would be far more convenient for Parker in the story opposed to rebooting and telling Morales origin.


I'd still watch Civil War despite who they choose as Spidey, but if Morales is it; I'm skipping the solo flick.

If true, and I doubt it is, it a really stupid move on Sony/Marvel's part.

Miles Morales is fine but he's not the Spider-Man the majority of fans want to see, Peter Parker is.

It should be Peter. Miles is cool and all but Peter Parker and his cast of friends and foes are the ones that the majority of Spidey fans identify with.

There's been five Peter Parker movies, none of Miles. I'd be more excited for a Miles movie than a Sixth Peter one.

Miles IS a diverse character already out. They wouldn't be changing Peter to an African American theyd be using an existing African American.

I wouldn't watch it if Jaden Smith was Miles though.

(correct me if I'm wrong) which makes no sense, OR just completely ignore Peter Parker and pretend Miles is the 1st and only Spiderman in the MCU, how would you feel about a Marvel Cinematic Universe where they had the change to bring in Peter Parker but decided to ignore him?

It's just, it makes no sense, why would you fight so hard to bring the single most iconic character in the Marvel universe, just to bring in far less popular and far less iconic version of him? In that case why even bother? Just put Black Panther like they originally planned.

Only thing I like of Morales over Parker is the spider sting and invisibility. The costume is solid, nothing like Peter though.
