I feel the same way about people with Civil War in their top 5 MCU.
It belongs in the bottom of their resume. It's a bloated, uninspired, melodramatic, patronizing waste of a Captain America film.
Bury me in the ocean with my ancestors who jumped from ships, because they knew death was better than bondage.
I was looking forward to seeing this, until hearing people go on and on about race again. I was just going to enjoy it is a good movie, now I might skip it because I am so tired of prejudice/reverse prejudice BS, it kind of ruined even seeing the movie now. I see that anybody who doesn’t like the new Star Wars movies is afraid of women, according to JJ Abrams. Getting tired of divisive people using race and gender as a weapon against anyone who happens to disagree with them – WHOEVER is doing it, and whether I like their work or not.
How much I like a movie has to do with good writing, good directing, and good acting, not gender or color of someone.
What do they call somebody who hates people of any race, gender, sexuality, breed, class, political party, religion, etc etc going around accusing those who disagree with them of being prejudice - as a charged and manipulative way to try to discredit them and/or shut them up? Because that’s a label I would wear proudly.
Stupidity comes in all forms, it doesn’t discriminate against bad movies or poor behavior, because it’s too stupid to.
Sorry to say this but the movie itself is very political.
Even if you avoid the race talk online
The movie itself is full of talk about nationalism vs globalism
About closed borders vs open borders... stuff like that
This is what makes me laugh so much about people wanting to avoid political talk and wants to watch a fun superhero movie when the movie itself is political lol

I completely agree with you. I think I'm going to skip the movie. Just want to enjoy a good movie without all the outside rhetoric.
I just got back earlier today from seeing this film and I was ridiculously impressed.
The onscreen chemistry between all of the actors was great. I LOVED the backstory of Wakanda and the five tribes. Everything about this movie was great. The CGI in the final battle needed a little work, IMO, but that's probably one of the very few critiques. And Killmonger....I LOVED him. He is one of my favorite villains in the MCU now. (I know little about Black Panther comics, but Michael B. Jordan did one heck of a job.)
All in all, for ME, this was top 3-4 best MCU movies. I put this behind only GOTG, Iron Man +/- Winter Soldier.
When I left the theater, I started thinking how excited I am to see what happens to Black Panther in Infinity War and the role he plays. I can't say the same about some of the other characters in the MCU.
Oh, and the soundtrack....
