I honestly don’t know how watching another movie will make me understand another movie unless drive is a prequel to venom

I thought the Venom trailer was great loved his narration had they shown the creature I would’ve been bored.

I think that’s also the direction Mcfarlane is taking with Spawn.

Todd may go one step further and not even make the movie, thereby taking subtlety to it’s ultimate conclusion.

Let him. Driver isn’t anything like venom at all. I’m sure driver is the better movie without even seeing venom yet.

Though I am not a fan of Thor 3 I agree with your point 100%

I know you were put off by the fact that the Hulk was "neutered" (even though Thor was technically losing to him prior to unleashing the lightning and it was almost implied that Hulk might have stopped Surtur at full strength from destroying Ragnarok had he not been called away) but as an 80's style space flick starring Thor himself do you not find it entertaining?

Even I acknowledge that as an IM/Hulk/BW flick the original Avengers is pretty cool. It's just the Cap stuff that annoys me.

Oh man some people are going to roll their eyes as I've gone off about this quite often (lol) but in a nutshell:

1. That horrific cowl (and the rest of the suit isn't that great either)

2. The fact that he was made to be a fish out of water doofus with the way he lit up about the flying monkeys reference. (In contrast the Russos gave us a similar moment in TWS where Widow starting talking about War Games and he deadpanned "Yeah I've seen it" before immediately refocusing her to the mission at hand. Or his tongue in cheek references to his old Barbershop Quartet and "she'd be over 90 years old" "so are we pal, so are we." The Russos got the exact same point across without him being the dopey butt of other people's jokes.)

3. Him struggling to put down 3 or 4 non-superpowered SHIELD agents on the Helicarrier. Hnnngh. Cowering behind cover, wildly spraying his assault rifle (and hitting no one) before almost falling off the carrier until IM not only rescued him but dispatched the final SHIELD agent that Steve was too incompetent to finish off himself.

4. That horrific, horrific cowl.

Him impressing the cops by taking down all those Chitauri *could* have been cool if he didn't look like such a dork doing it, lol. He was okay in parts ("Hulk smash" was great" and I liked his "there's only one God ma'am" line) but for me the negative by far outweigh the positive.

It was painfully obvious that Whedon didn't give a crap about Cap, Hawkeye, and Thor and gave all the best/coolest moments to IM, Widow, and Hulk.
