lady told me she cancelled the duplicate order and the charge will "fall off" in a few days. next month I may just go straight to ebay and avoid this headache. the extra $15 it costs on ebay is worth not having to deal with that matty kid

I am so pissed. It turns out I was charged three times!!!

The CS idiots over these were only able to cancel only one of the orders. How does that work??? I literally ordered the figure less than an hour ago.

So now I'm paying $60+ for two figures when I only wanted one.

Not I. My order shows as "not submitted" on my order tracking page even though I placed it at 12:01 EST. That would be "not submitted" because I could never get past the billing confirmation page and the fish sold out while I was refreshing the page (and restarting the order process, etc. etc.)

Congrats to Mattel on their success, but they really need to get their servers in line if demand is going to continue to be this fierce.

So here is what someone on Matty's Facebook page thinks is a good idea: What SHOULD happen is that the 15th is the day we all order however many we want and the actual figures are produced a little over that order number AFTER. It's much easier to meet the demand when you know exactly what it is BEFORE you make the actual figures.


Pretty much a stupid idea because people here complain about wait times and we're used to it, now imagine a more direct based item with wait times and delays. Matty wouldn't want that headache.

i thought the whole point of having these figures only available online was so that "everybody who wants one can get one". i believe those were matty's exact words. well this is like trying to fight through a retail store to find that figure that is limited to 1 per case, except now its like every figure is 1 per case. if it's gonna be this hard to get figures every month then forget it. i got lucky cuz i didnt have to work this morning but how often is that gonna happen for me? if these keep selling out in less than an hour then i'm screwed. i have a job. they really need to decrease the max # of figures that can be ordered to cut down on some of the sculpting. mer-man's already on ebay for over $50 a piece.

I'm getting scared about calling them after reading this. Might have to take the blow and keep the double orders. I'll most likely get rid of them through various toy forums at cost or trades. I don't want to deal with Matty.com with refunds.

Yeah, She doesn't have a clue. The order goes through Digital driver or something, a seperate entity than Matty collector. They told me that same story when Skeletor shipped. I had two charges, and both ended up completed. I had to dispute one with Paypal debit since Matty only showed me as having one order. Digital Driver never did respond to the chargeback and I got my money back. And as a plus I did get two orders of Skeletors, even though Matty's site still never had a record of two orders.

I asked CS "how can there be a pre-auth for an order that doesn't exist?"

I could sense her brain locking up. They are in the dark as much as some of us are.

I agree, people that work during the day are the ones who will really get screwed and will bail out fast...the only way to get these figures is to make sure you are off work that day and by your computer at noon.

well I feel better now because I just found out that it wasn't Matty's fault. it was He-Ro unleashing some sorcery on matty because he didn't want the villains to outsell he-man. Matty had no chance against He-Ro's magic.

Craw how did you find out that ur 1 was official, was the status different on it on their history page?
