I hate to say something good about Gentle Giant, but they are doing the right thing by allowing their club members to order something before it goes up to the general public. Maybe Matty should do that.

they just gotta lower that 10 limit. sure it will hurt people like Skiman but it would help the majority of others. not many flippers are gonna waste their time if they can only get 2 or 3 figures. but i suppose they could just open more accounts so it won't matter.

That would at least slow down the number of outgoing figures per minute so other accounts would have a chance to place an order without the server timing out.

the problem with preorders is that people will want to cancel figures and then matty will get stuck with inventory. it seems that matty's main goal is "no inventory".

They just need to have a no cancellation policy. Or just put them back up for sale because these things will continue to move.

There should be a pre-ordering for the 4 quarterly figures...instead of throwing them in a subscription...pre-ordering is the way to go...you cant cancel,is simple as that....bottom line

Toyguru does not care!! (he is a schister type salesman)
Like the majority corporations...they dont care,as long as they get their money..as long as the customer keeps buying the product, they wont think anything is really wrong...Money and greed rules in this sick world, but we are so obsessed with our toys, we keep taking it up the ass...and liking it for that matter....people need to address concerns to ToyGuru to his face...especially at SDCC...if everybody would chime in...he would have to answer...but they wont because the new figures are shown and then they forget the screw job

it's too bad everybody chickens out at SDCC and only praises them about the line so far, and try to ask questions about the future of the line.

Holy crap, the stands are now sold out too??

Yeah, no kidding... apparently according to some of the Q&A they will release more and different dios eventually...

maybe you can ask them why so many real fans of this line sit empty handed while ebay is loaded with tons of over priced figures?

and why their solution to this is to get a subscription forcing you to buy the bad with the good.

I'm seriously thinking about asking them some really tough questions this time around during SDCC...
They messed up with the wrong Mexican... :balrog

just in!!

Matty fans,

Wow! What a morning it was on MattyCollector.com. We knew Trap Jaw was going to go fast, and we had high hopes for Battlecat even though he was a $30.00 item. But man, even the stands sold out. You guys are amazing fans and this type of dedication and support will only help us to make more skus and more amazing MOTUC product.

The good news is both Trap Jaw and Battle Cat are offically going back into production. So if you missed out, never fear, they will be back sooner rather then later.

Things are looking really great for future MOTUC figures. But as always, we do encourage fans to sign up for the annual club Eternia subscription. The 2011 sub will go on sale in July/Aug and it looks like we are leaning towards including all the skus, both monthly figs, quarterly figs and large scale figs in the 2011 subscription, so that should help everyone out!

Yestersay's Q & A finally went out a few minutes ago, so check out your favorite fan sites and then head back here to the Matty forums to discuss with Mattel Brand Managers and designers!
