I don't understand this. Surely guns should be irrelevant to an evangelical Christian - wouldn't they want to lose so that they could finally meet God up in Heaven?

Most people go their whole lives never getting caught up in a criminal encounter, much less a violent one. I don't dispute that having a gun offers theoretical protection but there are more immediate dangers to worry about (such as health and highway safety).

Considering that democrats are in favor of killing babies anyway maybe it will get the crossover vote.

Yeah, but they ran into those sticky issues of human biology, and just couldn't explain the daughter being 5 months pregnant just 4 1/2 months after giving birth (Palin's child was born on April 18).

In all seriousness, without knowing why she flew while pregnant I can't say if it was a bad decision or not. Its not something I'd do. Nor is forcing raped women to keep a baby. But I'm not running am I?

You guys are pretty fortunate to have a candidate like Obama that thinks EXACTLY like each and every Democrat...or maybe you're all brainwashed with the same download?

I would say it is reckless to ignore your body and just take the flight instead of going to a hospital. And that's if you have decided upon keeping the baby.

If she had decided to abort the fetus before the proper time in the pregnancy, I wouldn't have called her reckless. It would be a choice, would it be the right one? Nobody can say but God or whatever divine being you believe in... But the point is, that she has that choice.

But if you are a Mother who is going to see the pregnancy through to the delivery, it's really best to heed what your body is telling you. Get to a hospital.

There was a blog that claimed they had "proof" that Palin's 4 1/2-month-old baby was not hers, but that she was covering up for her daughter. The "proof" was a photo in which Sarah did not look pregnant to the blogger. The media (in their typical unbiased way) seized on this as a "factual" report, and ran with it. This was, of course, before the daughter's real pregnancy was announced.

Earlier in this thread I learned that if I kill someone who is attacking my family I am a murderer. A soldier who kills another soldier in combat is also a murderer. But a woman who doesn't want the inconveniance of having a child, can have that child aborted up till 24 weeks I think it is. At this time the baby has a heart, lungs, brain pretty much a miniature human being. This woman is considered a prochoice advocate and is smiled upon by the left. Gotcha.
