Super Freak
McFarlane dropped the ball long ago. Long, long ago. The last figures by them I bought was the 3-pack of Bram Stoker's Dracula
The last one I thought was worth the cash was the Sleepy Hollow Horseman dio deal.

Also, we went from this
to that, is also pretty embarrassing. McToys used to be the kings of paint apps.com
I started selling collectible figures and toys because of Spawn and Star Wars, but it was pretty much Movie Maniacs that generated the whole collectable adult toy line.Without Movie Maniacs there would never have been NECA,NECA only took off after they picked up the licences that Mcfarlane never did like Hellraiser. I will never ever understand why Mcfarlane chose to make 5" Walking Dead figures when every one wants 6/7" figures this could have been the rebirth for Mcfarlane with movie Maniacs 2.0
wow Shane really looks like a turd....
they all do... Jesus....
Series 2 is up and the promo pics are at least more indicative of the final quality, i.e. still crappy but at least we know what to expect. At least they made the 3 most memorable zombies

I recently re-stumbled across the old McFarlane Monsters series this week on ebay. I can't believe how far McFarlane has fallen. 10 Years ago for $9-13 (on the high end!) we go something like this:
And now for $15+ we get Hasbro rejects? I mean the monster figures is what I think many of us were expecting when McF got the license. So sad at the wasted potential.
