I'm baffled that such crappy figures are selling for so much money.

I know what your saying i saw one of Daryl Dixon on E-Bay sell for £84 that is insane for such a crap looking figure.

I got a Shane the other day. What I dont understand is why they are 16.99for a figure this small. I guess because of the popularity of them but they should be no more than 9.99 in stores.

No, I blame Todd. He went for sucky licenses, then his Spawn figures started to shrink. His best guys left him. He could have continued with Movie Maniacs. He could still be what he was once, but I guess his thrill is gone.

How could he have released any MM when the market was saturated with film toys from NECA and Sota?

McF hit it's peak in 2004. Same time NECA's boom began.

Mcfarlane was finished when he made excuses about licenses fans wanted for Movie Maniacs not being available, and then NECA made those figures. I remember them trying to say that the reason they couldn't do Hannibal lecter was because Anthony Hopkins would not allow figures to be made.

MEH. McFarlane is not what it used to be, IMO. More geared towards kids and mainstream "Toy" selling.

No i was told this before the Cult Classics Hannibal Lecter figure came out by Randy at the British Toy Fair. Mcfarlane could have had the licences for Hellraiser and Hannibal Lecter but they didn't want to pay for them. They wanted to make there own figures and not have to pay for the license it was the same with The Exorcist.

I've noticed this 2nd series has 3 different cards. I've heard the long slim card is from gamestop. Are the others Toys R Us and Walmart?

One of the other card types has the "Walking Dead" logo vertical and the other horizontal and the figs are packaged differently on them.

Found the entire set of series 2 at GameStop for $12.99 each but didn't get the zombies. The one in the middle is from toysrus.com

I still like series 1 Rick head sculpt more than series 2
