Can't believe they haven't been done yet. I just hope Sideshow doesn't get them. Kirkman already ****ed up giving the licence to McFarlane. Sideshow would kill the line with ****ty paint and incredibly long waits.

I think NECA would have done best with the line. I always think of what could have been.
Anywho, it is hard to believe that I think Daryl is actually the grail of my collection.

that's the question that haunts all of us. Why are these so freaking horrible when McFarlane was known for doing decent figures. I really don't know, I am shocked about it. I really wish someone knew the reason
this baffles me.

Glad I am not alone...and considering what a built in audience WD has, you'd think Mcfarlane would want people to buy their figures......but with how bad they are, they just peg warm

I agree with you. The figures cost more then the cool Movie Maniac line but they are smaller and don't look half as good granted that line was along time ago and production costs are up but still. They seem to be too concerned with making "cool" gore features like exploding heads then the actual look of the figure.

something I really do not understand is why they are smaller than 7 inch. is it because Halo figures are that small too? or is it because it is cheaper to make them smaller?

I don't know but the size was the biggest turn off for me, I don't have anything that size in my collection they would totally stand out in a bad way. I would really like to know why he made them that size.

I also would love an explanation for the joints.
Mcfarlane figures never had joints like that. in fact the reason some of his figures were so good sometimes is that they were like mini statues.

Macfarlane himself said it in interviews that he didn't like joints just for show and that he would sculpt a figure first and then figure out how to add the joints. I remember because I had that magazine where they ask him.

The worst thing about this is that the figures like Daryl look like they have a predisposed pose already, so those joints are kind of useless.

I really wish we got figures the same style as Movie Maniacs.

I honestly think these are the best Walking Dead collectibles i have had in the shop and the fastest to sell out. I am a sucker for this whole Funko Pop! vinyl line but i realy dig these.

yeah Im scared I Wont be able to get some, if people are going so crazy for the Mcfarlane crap I can't even begin to think how these will do.
