I like this figure. I plan on getting it. I just hope the outfit stuff is changed before it ships.

Each to his own I guess. I still think the SS Maul rocks (not the boots so much I'll give 'em that).

Hmm, I'll admit that the paint apps on the head look a little better than the SS version...just a 'little' though...something about the eyes looking up...makes him appear more menacing...

As for the outfit on the Medi, it looks too...velvety. I still think the clothes on the SS version look better. Will have to wait to see the final version to know for sure though...

Still...it looks cool!

I dont think SS's HS sucked. (art buck sucks, but that's been around forever) its a good sculpt, probably just not the right expression. much like their jedi luke, good HS, but weird expression IMO. Who picks and approve the expression anyways? does anyone know?

Sometimes people don't like the truth. Come February or more likely March/April as Medicom figs usually get delayed I'll have 2 1/6 scale Darth Maul figs that have superior sculpts to Stoner Maul,1 from Medicom and 1 custom with a DarthCallous headsculpt that's even better than the RAH. My only slight reservation with the RAH Maul from the pics so far is that the head looks a tad big,not SSC big but still somewhat noticeable. I have faith that Medicom will address the issue before the figure ships,they fixed Jango's shoulder armor which they probably could of got away with so something like the head size will not go unnoticed.

I really do feel this has been Medi's year for the SW fan favourites, we've had a couple of troopers from them.

Not one but both Fetts and now they've unveilled Maul, can't wait to see where they take their SW line next.

People respect each other's opinions on a film rather than going for each other's jugular.

The thing I don't get is that I've spoken to both Josh and BCM77 whilst I've been around here and at MediWorld and taken off this kind of subject you guys are both reasonable intelligent and articulate adults, no need to start squabbling over this ****.
