Medicom Fan: Like everything else in Mediworld this is the best thing ever!!

Sideshow Fan: Meh.

Medicom Fan: You're just jealous. Sideshow has big heads and crappy articulation and you could actually wear SSC Maul's boots!

Sideshow Fan: Whatever. Medicom figures are too short and expensive. I've had root canals and Vegas hookers that cost less.

Medicom Fan: You get what you pay for. You can't afford THE BEST FIGURES EVER™ then get a better job!

Sideshow Fan: Yeah, well... Medicom's Luke sucks!

THE END.
Besides the claiming that Medicom's product is best in anything and the 'you're just jealous', you've pretty much summed up what this thread could've or might be.;)

It's funny cos it's true:rotfl:lol

Medicom's Star Wars line has one miss, compared to Sideshow's which has some really bad sculpts and the worst paint jobs ever. Period. You can't argue that point. Even though Medicom is pricier, you get what you pay for.

I don't even collect this crap so I really am an unbiased observer.

I'm very impressed with the Medi Maul sculpt and do think it's better than SSC's version, but obviously I'd have to see it in person before I could make a final judgement. So far it's looking promising and I like the fact we've had so many fan favourites from Medi.

Wonder if we'll get any other SW RAH's or Marvel RAH's unveilled at SDCC later in the week, I really hope so:D

Good for you. Too bad you have to sell three of them to make the necessary room in your wallet. :lol

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

I'm getting the Medicom Maul. It looks cool very cool. The likeness is ok I see less of Ray in there than I do in any of the SS pieces. The paint apps appear to be pretty good but have any of the flaws you see in most 1:6th figures. Looking at the pics of the sabers I see one thing I just find odd. The half sabers look brand new despite being cut in half and not cut marks. If they're supposed to have been cut in half they need to be damaged not halves he's about 2 put together.

Well, not to sound like a Dad, but I think they are BOTH great....now you guys go run along and play.

Seriously though, I'm not too savvy of this subject, but I thought/read/remember that only one company at a time could have the 1/6 license, how do both Medicom and Sideshow have them?

wow this sucks having my internet out for the weekend i miss out on all of these cool threads. this maul looks alright. does it look better than the SS maul? i dont think so. from some of the fan posted pics with proper lighting i think the SS maul looks just as good as the Medicom maul. the eyes paint job on the Medicom makes him look like some EMO sith reject IMO. now all we need is for customizers to to get their hands on him so they can cut him in half. and whoever is on the SS forums bragging about how much better the Medicoms are than the SS figures should probably shut up---the last time i checked SS figures hold their value while i just picked up a Medicom vader for $85 shipped on ebay NIB. thats what, a $65 drop in value??

for one region, only one company. Japan = medicom, USA = SSC

That's why medi star wars figures are imports.

Very often Sideshow's figures don't look to be worth whatever the amount is they're selling for. Same problem with Medicom. Can't win. I have definite set limits on how much I spend on collectibles. So Sideshow is more agreeable but as it is so hit and miss that there will be glaring holes in the lineup.

But I'll get Wicket probably since Yoda was cheaper

Your Sideshow Vs. Medicom feuds are pretty weak....Jedi Rob Who ??? You should have seen back in the good ole days when it was guys like Evil Face, Nash,Me, Snake Beater,Dekadent Dave and the Super Fan who were fighting....Those were the days...

Seriously....You guys should wait until the production pieces are out before comparing anything. The bashing has become really old and doesnt bring anything positive to this board.

Listen to Shai, the voice of reason.:monkey1
