That looks like an Alien. Not a guy in a suit. Its all about the apperence. And I dont even notice the Alien as a guy in a suit. Only the accurate toys...

No, we can't pose it like that... but then Celtic P would be pissed off because it looks like a guy in a suit...
It'd be ironic if HT finally did right on replicating the original design with the figure from this movie instead of going more artistic in their interpretation.
There's no need for anyone to get on anyone's case, it's all about preference.
Some will want the figure to represent the design used to present the screen images, others will want a figure to embody the way the creature was presented on film.
You see, I think the real point is that you're missing the essence of what the alien in the first movie was meant to represent. Giger said it himself: the alien should be a perversion of the human form. It came from a human, so it should look a human. Just different.
I don't want the "guy-in-a-suit" look if that means seeing how the rubber suit bunches up when the alien flexes its arms. But I do want the accurate look of the movie. That's why I like the NECA figure. And that is what worries me about the Medi-alien.
As for the other aliens, again, I don't think anybody wants Tom Woodruff in a suit. We want the look of the animatronic puppets for Aliens, the rod puppet for Alien 3 and the CGI sculpt for Alien Resurrection, AvP and AvP-R. But accurate. And if the designers working on these figures can disguise lots of articulation into them you'll have all the cool posing you'd like to have to make them look more sinister and alien.
But I was just messing with ya CP!
