hello... coco.

i just got that taito r2 clock. anxious to see what he looks like with medis c3. but medis r2 looks damn impressive. i may have to get him too. GIDDY UP!

Both of them look phenomenal. Screw the complaining over the proper scale, I've got to give Medicom props with a great job on these droids. They've had some misses in the SW line...but these are far from that.

These are definitely nice. R2 especially. For the price I would have liked to seen some elbow articulation on 3po and a couple working compartments on R2 though.

Who's got the balls to attempt adding elbow articulation?
(Not me!)
Need some medi/HT elbow ball joints, maybe some HT terminator endoskeleton pistons, some colour marched paint, one very deep breath & cajons the size of watermelons!!!

Agreed. These look really good.

The way you have them displayed is fantastic. By themselves they definitely look great and the size factor is a non-issue.

Whoo! Speedy Post!
Won a 3PO on eBay Last Wednesday night, seller said due to Thanksgiving holiday he probably wouldn't post until Monday, it's Tuesday evening here in the UK and I'm the proud owner of a rather Spiffy Gold droid!
No time for pictures yet, but I'll get round to it soon and maybe even a little review.
First impressions, very good, although his left foot popped off as I got him out of the box and for a moment I thought the joint had gone. (We've all had those "Medi Moments") but luckily it went back in fine! Deep breath, take more care!!!

C 3PO and R2 arrived today.

A few quick observations:
- Both are visually appealing regardless of inaccuracies. (love R2).
- C 3PO is shorter than Medicom Luke. Compared to non Medicom figures their scale may be bigger issue to some. I have Medi Han and Luke so no worries.
- R2 uses AAA batteries instead of watch batteries (small victory)
- C 3PO seems REALLY fragile (no weight).
- R2 lights up with no issues, C 3PO has flickered before staying lit.
- No accessories, stands etc. just the two figures.

Very happy with the purchase however, I don't feel either is worth $170+. I got mine from ebay for $137 a piece, that is a fair price IMO.

Not much time with them but my two cents. :peace

The weight and feel of 3PO surprised me too. He just felt cheap while I was putting the batteries in and posing him. Looks great on the shelf though.
