went ahead and put both images together, wasnt sure if i wanted their dissolve boxes to match up, or to get the heads at the same height. Went with boxes, cause otherwise guy would of been missing part of the top of his head.

No way it's Raiden's father...they wouldn't have had that sort of technology back then. It's looks exactly like the suit from MGS4, which takes place in 2014.


It does look far more feminine than Raiden ever did. Looks like Sunny to me, but once again makes no sense to be with Big Boss, unless they cloned him...

It looks more like Sunny than Raiden tho. Frank died in MGS, technically before that. This is not grey fox.

im still saying its raiden or a clone of raiden. and im saying this takes place after MGS4. it looks like hes wearing Snake's bandanna as well. the holes in his forehead lead me to believe its a clone. Raiden also got blood in his eye which would explain the color change.

And then I am lead to believe this game is a prequel to MGS1, and the two guys in the teaser are Grey Fox and Big Boss. I mean who else had damage to their eye and to their face....Grey Fox.

Spiky blonde hair, and obviously the model render is not as good as today. perhaps this is what Kojima envisioned Grey Fox to look like....

So as it seems, the "Mask" on Kojima's site is just a teaser for the game "Lord of Shadow". An official announcement on the game will be made before E3. Kojipro and the team that made Clive Barker's Jericho joined up to make LOS, so it's not something really original from Kojima. It'll be interesting to see what this game's really about. Although, Clive Barker's involvement (indirect involvement?) explains why the "Mask" thing has such a creepy, almost "Grudge" like feel to it.

He's got Grey hair. So which do you believe that it's Raiden or Gray Fox? To my knowledge Fox was never shot in the head twice as these look like bullet holes, and he didn't have a mechnical jaw.

I wouldn't be too quick to write those off as bullet holes. IMO the look like the circles raiden had at the end when his kid came to visit him. Could be just something cyborgs have here and there.

So has anyone been watching the countdown recently? I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but I'm getting a bunch of letters now. Here's the letters I've seen in no particular order. I think it's pretty clear though. I don't think that 5 was neccesarily a 5 but an S. Here's why...

I got all of those Letters or numbers while watching it. The 5 could still stand for both a 5 and a S. There was also an uppercase E as well which doesn't really fit into anything yet. In random here's all the letters and or numbers that have flashed for me. Scramble them how you will.
