Well isn't Hideo also making an non-MGS game as well? I forget where it was mentioned, someone mentioned a game that was like the dream sequence in MGS...

The bar code on the blonde characters forhead matches exactly to the barcode on Raidens face shield in MGS4

Interesting. So Raiden and Big Boss? Sometime after The Manhattan Incident, he was outfitted with a cyborg exoskeleton to keep him alive after being tortured by the Patriots in which they removed his spine and part of his head...And judging from his looks, it looks as if it takes place perhaps after MGS4, since he still had an eye? He could have easily got his cyborg exoskeleton reattached, as they gave him a new human-like synthetic body at the end of MGS4...But if MGS4 takes place in 2014 and Big Boss is all grey by then. He wouldn't be as young as he is pictured unless it was in the 80s...
I dunno perhaps it will take place in the 80s? When Raiden is a kid and Big Boss is middled age, and perhaps there are flashback sequences...I dunno...brainstorming here.
But I don't understand the statement where "cross platform games suck" ....many games that have come out on both PS3 and 360 if not all 3, were all very good. COD4, BioShock, Prince of Persia, Dead Space, Grand Theft Auto IV, just to name a few...?

I still don't think it's Raiden. Can't even see the full bar code, and his eye color is different.

really anxious to hear/see the big announcement, the only thing that sucks major @$$ is the wait. the wait for a metal gear game always blows because it happens to bo one of my favorite series of games. i hope we get to play as big boss again.
Yeah, screw Raiden! Big Boss is my favorite character in MGS.

the thought of Sunny (not Raiden) taking Snake's place is pretty cool though but not have her fight with swords and make her look like the ninja, i'd rather she fight with guns, grenades, and of course the cqc knife in full bdu like the Snakes. Her character would have to be really cool and likable not whiney and obnoxious. but still, a game where you dont play as Snake (naked or solid) is really not a Meta Gear IMO, its probably like Tomb Raider with out Lara, just not possible.
