PS3 owners already got their Metal Gear game. The MGS franchise isn't a loyal dog to Sony, it's been on different platforms before.

No reason why it can't continue to cross between platforms.

Didn't the guy say in the Microsoft Press conference that everything shown after Final Fantasy XIII would be only on Xbox? I think that goes for this new Metal Gear game. All you PS3 fanboys will have to buy a 360 to play this game. Accept it.

Yes. if you want to play the game you should buy the console its on. if you have a problem with the 360 then that's your problem, not the other 360 owners. otherwise get over it and skip the game.

I doubt this will be an Xbox exclusive. I own both consoles, but I'm sort of happy that the franchise is coming to the 360 for the achievements and XBL if MGO is included.

The character has been radically altered, changed because fans didn't like him in MGS2, and I thought the reception of the character in MGS4 was immensely positive. From the 10 second teaser we've seen during E3, Raiden was the only character shown. Okay, obviously there will be other characters in the game, familiar characters (possibly Snake or Big Boss). Whether or not that's true or false has yet to be seen so hold your egregious hate until that happens.

Yes it has, but all it's been a SONY exclusive. All the games...Metal Gear Solid one the original playstation, Sons of Liberty, and Snake Eater on the PS2, and Guns of the Patriots on the PS3. We don't count the rehash of Substance for the Xbox or the god-awful Twin Snakes for the gamecube. Neither sold well, MGS belongs on the SONY consoles.

exactly...people need to get over this one console mentality and get all three to play EVERY major game to be released. seriously, do some of these people cry about exclusives every time a really good one comes out for a system they don't own??? i hate my Wii, but i know if i want to play Smash Brothers or Zelda i'd have to shell out the money for the system rather than cry in my bed all night about how they need to be on my PS3 or 360.

Now look at who needs to "calm down" . Perhaps you should take your own advice dude, and take a chill-pill. I don't have an issue with Raiden being in the MGS games. I have an issue with him being in the lead role. In my opinion, an MGS game without Snake as the main character isn't truly MGS (and I know that most fans feel that way). Snake has been the protagonist for over 20 years in the series, and to replace him with Raiden, is to create an entirely different game - something other than MGS. From what it looks like, I'm willing to bet that the new game will be "Metal Gear Solid" in name alone, nothing else.

If you are trying to joke about the RROD affecting the 360 it is an old argument. I have two 360's and have had one since launch and have never had an RROD issue at all. If one dies on me I'll have another as backup anyway to still enjoy my 360 only MGS.

I will enjoy Drakes 2 and then Metal Gear on the 360. I said before, if you are a TRUE gamer you WILL own all systems. If you don't sorry but take a good look in the mirror and you will see the definition of fanboy.

Also speaking of Final Fantasy they were always exclusive too Nintendo before they found Sony and guess what? Sony dropped a ton of money to get it. So again in the PS3 fan theory I guess I should not play the game because I used to be a Nintendo fan?
