PS3 owners already got their Metal Gear game. The MGS franchise isn't a loyal dog to Sony, it's been on different platforms before.
No reason why it can't continue to cross between platforms.

Yes. if you want to play the game you should buy the console its on. if you have a problem with the 360 then that's your problem, not the other 360 owners. otherwise get over it and skip the game.Should we sole PS3 owners who are also MGS fans (in which MGS has been exclusive on SONY consoles) have to plunk down $400 plus dollars to buy a system we don't want only to play a game that should rightfully be ours?
No.
I don't care if it's Raiden or not, we should get it on the PS3. I await tomorrow to hear the good news...
lol... this thread is hilarious. the PS3 fans whining like babies. all those years when they had MGS as a flagship series and now its the end of the world because the 360 has it. get over it you babies that's the name of the game.
I guess you didn't like Raiden in MGS4? Did that game stink? It's pretty clear no opinions will get through to impetuous fanboys like you. "Raiden" factor? That's ridiculous. The character has been radically altered, changed because fans didn't like him in MGS2, and I thought the reception of the character in MGS4 was immensely positive. From the 10 second teaser we've seen during E3, Raiden was the only character shown. Okay, obviously there will be other characters in the game, familiar characters (possibly Snake or Big Boss). Whether or not that's true or false has yet to be seen so hold your egregious hate until that happens.
If this were announced for PS3 your tone would be markedly different. Heck, the general tone of this game was pretty positive before today, and I'm not about to attribute that to discovering Raiden MIGHT be the main character. It's the whole Microsoft exclusivity thing.

FREEDOMMM!!!!
I think everyone in here, MGS fan or not has the right to dislike microsoft and their products. Would you as a SONY faithful of 3 consoles straight and after 11 years of MGS games, want the next one announced on the other system?

Didn't the guy say in the Microsoft Press conference that everything shown after Final Fantasy XIII would be only on Xbox? I think that goes for this new Metal Gear game. All you PS3 fanboys will have to buy a 360 to play this game. Accept it.
Owning both isn't so bad.
i know right. heaven forbid....well, the ultimate shot to the nuts would be for MS to announce they bought rights to God of War.It's not just that 360 is getting it, it's that 360 is getting it FIRST. Cry foul, PS3 owners, cry foul.
What am I going to do with my PS3 now? (that's a joke, I love my PS3)

Watching you Sony fanboys whine and cry foul is so funny. HA HA HA. It's like you think that Microsoft doesn't have the right to have Metal Gear. It's so sad.
Being limited in your gaming purchasing decisions is really no fun is it? Too bad you can't play them all like multi-console owners like me can. I'll enjoy the hell out of this new Metal Gear while you PS3 only users miss out.

Careful about what you say. The RROD fairy may decide to pay visit you at any time .

Duh, because it's our series. It is the whole Microsoft "exclusivity" thing. I wouldn't care if it was cross platform, but a MGS game being a M$ exclusive is ridiculous. And I'm sick of them buying exclusives with cash.
Wow, the well is tapped dry of that quip.
That's why no one will take your whining seriously, because you see this as a personal betrayal to you and your side or allegiance, as illustrated by you use of the term "our series".
It's business. It's because MGS4 didn't sell as well as Konami anticipated on the PS3. If there's anyone to blame, it's the Sony fans who didn't buy the games in the first place.
What a perplexing question, you perplexed individual. I have no idea what you're reading, what you think you're reading, or how your mind translates words into thoughts. Honestly, I can't answer that question for you - you'll just have to find the answer for yourself.
