If it was an exclusive or even a timed exclusive, you can bet your ass Microsoft would have made a big mention of that. It was left up in the air, so from a company that always dots its i's and crosses its t's, that's pretty much a guarantee it's coming to PS3 too.

hey I am glad xbox gamers will have the honor to experience the MGS series but i just find it offensive for us ps3 owners to be deprived to play this game when we have being fans of the series since day one.

i could say that if it was an xbox 360 exclusive we may get a better multiplayer with it having the support of xbox live

I'm very happy it's cross platform. I said before I wouldn't care if it's cross-platform we can share it. But if it was an 360 exclusive I would have flipped out. Now that we too are getting rising and a new title for the PSP as well, I'm stoked.
Wookie needs to learn to read, if you did click the link it obviously lists two games one being for the PS3, 360, and PC, the other being for the PSP. What do you mean are there anymore worth buying that are cross-platform? PS3 should be the main console and you should buy the exclusives for the inferior 360. I mean if I owned a 360 I'd own at least 4 games. Everyone should know that. I only buy good games as well and I have quite a few more than 8.

Not really sold on the name, but it took me a while to warm up to Snake Eater too. I think that this image has to do with the PSP game if the other image corresponded with Metal Gear Solid: Rising

if it does have to do with the psp game then thats to bad i was stoked over the possibility of another big boss game.
not that raiden is a bad character, they made him into a much cooler character in mgs4. i tell you in my opinion i think they should have made a game about the boss and her becoming the celebrated soldier during world war 2 now that would be tight.

I was just typing the same thing over at Kotaku.com, I stated that Peace Walker is most likely the Big Boss title. As Portable Ops was also BB based. Looks like PSP will be the exclusive Big Boss gaming platform.

I thought they would change it to Metal Gear 'insert new word here'...oh well. It's not even Metal Gear anymore...it's all MGS now.
So I'm getting a title for my PS3 to play as the bad ass cyborg ninja Raiden.
And no doubt a title on my PSP to play as the ultimate bad ass soldier, Big Boss.
I'm happy as Snake walking in on Meryl in her underpants.

The way I see it too. Portable Ops really surprised me with how great it is. I wasn't expecting that. So I'm all for another PSP MGS. Fingers crossed it's Big Boss.

I might have to get a PSP for the Big Boss game. I did have one several years ago, but ended up selling it. I'm hoping Sony announces a new PSP tomorrow.
