Best PSP trailer ever. And it's great they'll tell the "missing link" story that takes place after MGS3 & Portable Ops and before the original Metal Gear.

Hey fellow fans, this thread has been flamed and sent to hell. Let's continue the discussion in our MGS group. More invites have been sent out, and for others who want in, send me a PM.

Don't feed the trolls! :lightsabe

Hey, i'll have in on this!?

I really wish this was the PS3 game and MGS: Rising was the PSP one.

I'm fine with it. This raiden game will run fast, so it will need the hardware. Portable Ops proved to me that you can have a full fledged MGS experience on a hand held. Something I really doubted before playing it.

PSP huh?Not what i was hoping for as i see PSP as a real waste for such a great franchise, and who doesn`t want another Big Boss game?Let`s hope for a Big Boss PS3 game after MGS:Rising .

Portable Ops was still a pretty good game, and it was releaed for the PSP. Perhaps Konami's cutting production costs after they spent tons of cash on MGS 4? Hmm...

I HATED portable ops.

Was a huge disppointment for me, what with the recruitment stuff and the chapter like missions.

To be honest, I found that the recruitment system was similar to Pokemon - "Gotta catch em' all" :lol. I became so obsessed with just capturing all the soldiers, and bringing them to my side. But the good thing is, that my obsession allowed me to have zero kills for the entire game.

I thought that the storyline for Portable Ops was fantastic. It gave us a glimpse on the early life of Grey Fox, and Zero's connection to the entire conspiracy against Snake was being hinted.

I also found it easier to do CQC in Portable Ops than in MGS 3, so the controls were definitely improved.

All in all, I really enjoyed PO. In terms of being a faithful canon to the Metal Gear Solid storyline (one in which Kojima wasn't involved), it certainly didn't disappoint.

Agreed 100%. I actually enjoyed Portable Ops more than Sons of Liberty.
