Nah, same reason with me too. I tend to not support bootlegs if I can. Imagine if Shinkawa or Kojima had their bus break down and crashed at your place on day and they saw those bootlegs, think they'll stay for burgers then?
That'll be a dream come true! (if they crashed at my place, that is)
I was really surprised that no one carried any bootleg figures for Kojima to sign last year at Uniqlo. I thought that there would be at least one person to try and pull a stunt like that. But, I guess that the fan base is too smart for that.
i got mine from lookout toy store on ebay. there is a seller in america though listing him for $200 without a preorder date on it. i asked him when his shipment is coming and this is what he told me. im only using that as a projection on when usa stocks are starting to be filled.

That looks awesome.
ive seen that for a long time now. the problem is that the medicom body wouldnt match it. youd have to redo the whole paint and add the spikes and what not. its a good idea if you can customize well.

Wasn't Raiden using his MGS4 suit minus the helmet before he got the new body? I think even with the eyepatch he'll look at least similar to that. I think I might get the head someday, I'd love to paint it!
On a side note, my Sniper Wolf repaint cracked TWICE now. I spoke with a veteran painter here and he gave me some tips that I'll try tomorrow. I think my mistake was not using primer and I let the paint dry too quick. Back to square one with her.

when he was in the mgs4 suit he still had the shield/visor setup. it wasnt til he got his face sliced and his arm cut off that that headsculpt would come into play. with the mgs4 raiden skin he has the old setup again. so no, it wouldnt work, ever. im sorry to hear about your paint job. hope the tips help you out. not sure why this happened to that sculpt and not the others you did.
im kinda pissed off at this. GTFO Kojima!!!

freechris01 on ebay has the complete 20th udf line including all 3 variants and even a bonus crouching old snake from the series 2 line starting at a dollar. they look authentic. also the 3rd variant is that almost impossible to find mgs2 snake uk ex. they are loose though but they look complete. just thought id bring it up. youre welcome

The Japan Expo has started, PAK liquid & raiden still have not been painted.
Not sure did they change the sculpt (too dark) but from the angle he doesn't seem to be smiling.
Ps. PAK assassin creed 3 & 4 both have 2 head-sculpts (hooded and unhooded)
