I hear great things about the game, i don't have a psp or vita so it's a bit difficult :lol

As a MGS design, especially a sneaking suit design it's pretty bad, but it's personal taste. I should maybe clarify i don't like the design as a whole, i don't mind Jaegers features

I don't think the Tenchu rip off scarf thing is needed, and the dominatrix gloves..

But I loved that design :dunno

Play Portable Ops, if you haven't. It's a criminally underrated entry in the franchise. Pity there will almost certainly never be any figures of the characters from it :(

Do you have a Vita, Frank? If so, you're in luck since UK owners get to play that with dual analog sticks and hardware acceleration on Vita.

I don't, I'd like one but i haven't really had any (other) disposable income to get one

It's becoming more of a pipe dream than a reality as time goes on

I wouldn't worry about it, just like the PSP, in a few years it'll be priced as cheap as socks.

So stupid it wasn't included in the HD collection.

I think a Kojima Podcast addressed that, despite the complaints their official statement was to keep the collection "Kojima made games".

Kojima produced and oversaw it and it's supposed to be canon.

To be honest, whoever made it did a better job than Kojima has recently, not only does it have a great self-contained story but the gameplay is some of the deepest in the entire series.

I was expecting maybe 6 hours of game at most considering the previous console entries and its handheld nature. Instead I got something like 300 hours out of it before finally finishing the story.

:lecture :goodpost:

Man, I think I might get a used PSP since I have all Metal Gear UMDs, including MPO+ and MGS: Digital Graphic Novel. I doubt we'll get to play these anywhere else anytime soon.

Oh, and lets not forget Metal Gear Acid 2, also another criminally underrated game. :lecture

This is the poster boy for the retarded fan community behind this franchise.
I'll say. It's a REALLY old Indie game (2008 I think, maybe older) so what the hell do you expect? The game is solid though, and there's a sequel I think. ****ing fanboys, that's why I almost didn't even play any of the games.

We're past that. It's PSP talk now.. :lol

Have you ever had a PSP, FSLAR?

I don't care about the game... I'm talking about fans like him and their ridiculous need for **** like this.

I loved the art style of the Ac!d games so much. Those drawings for the liners and all the cutscenes and dialogue boxes were just gorgeous to look at.

Online was fun too. I loved the buddy system aspect of it, between switching between fellow soldiers.

I played Portable Ops against friends all the time for about a year straight. They all hated me by the end of it because none of them could ever beat me :lol

I never understood Pliss' hatred for the MGS fanbase (or part of it) until I started watching Avatar and knew the fanbase of that franchise :lol

I don't know which one's worse.

I'm sure the Avatar community is worse. These are the people that went into full blown depression because they aren't in the 3D world anymore >_>

I think the LOTR/Hobbit fanbase is the worst. Right here on SSF, people have been banned, Facebook friends have been deleted, just for slighting that immaculate show :pow.

It makes me appreciate that we don't have a hardcore MGS nazi-mod in the video game section.

Excellent point. I cannot be bothered watching ANY of that series whatsoever, and the fans here take that **** way too seriously. TWD fan base it pretty bad too.

Now that I think about it, the MGS fanbase could be a hellva lot worse than it is.
