Oh! :lol :slap.

Damn. I remember I lost sleep, battled a fever, and came close to pissing myself from cold medication when Kojima showed up that day.

And here's something funny: I have an old buddy from the PSN who was camping the night before. The guy's kind of nuts. He then went on to camp out for the PS4 launch in 2013, and he became immortalized as the first person in the world to buy a PS4... Sony even made him a ****ing mural.

The moral of the story: lose sleep at the risk of bodily harm, reap the rewards.

I know I'm rambling right now. I haven't slept much since last night, either. Or, had coffee. ****. ****. Where was I?

I never got why people do that. I went to a Black Friday sale before midnight at Target a few years ago, since they had a cheap HD TV. I didn't get the TV, because they gave tickets to people to go get what they had in stock, and neglected to tell the back of the line. I ended up getting the TV for a little more money like a week or so later. It's not worth getting beaten up or robbed.

The thing is though, you can always get a TV. Whereas only a few fans (amongst millions) have ever had the privilege of meeting the creators for their favorite franchises.

Sorry for derailing the thread, man. I was just thinking today, if it's really the end of Kojima, he may never return to the U.S on those huge events anymore. It's kind of surreal to think that he might just fade away into obscurity after MGS V. It just seemed for a while like he was too big to fail.

I think he peaked in his career with MGS2, and now it's more relevant than ever. I think his fame carried over years later, but IMO the biggest thing to happen to the series was MGS2. Without a shadow of a doubt, I never looked more forward to a game in my life. I remember first hearing about it and literally lost my ****. I couldn't believe, we were getting a continuation of Shadow Moses.

He'll work after MGSV, but I can't see it catching on like MGS did, whatever it is.

It'll be good if he could at least put out one more game, with the originality of MGS 1 and 2. But, I don't have high hopes for MGS V, in that regard, and he's been struggling immensely to keep up with his competition since MGS 4.

I remember it was the same VR platform, but still it doesn't make any logical sense to exist outside Arsenal. Wouldn't it make more sense to just fight all the RAYs on top of Arsenal's back?

I don't think any part of the Arsenal deign made any sense. Didn't that RAY hangar had a bottomless pit with codes of text moving along the walls and such? It was totally unreal.

Just ran across this, have't seen it for some time. It's interesting to see how many of the camera angles changed from the prototype to the final game.

That's awesome! Haven't seen that in awhile.
Mentioning MGS 1... Hnggggggggggg...

You should get an acrylic case for those. Simply amazing that you met them.

Hey Pliss, are you currently playing MGS2 like you said you were?

Yep. I played some of the Tanker, and then took a day off, but the other day I just decided to redo it and now I completed the Tanker and I'm starting the Big Shell. I noticed with the HD edition, Snake's mullet is glitchy and you can see his neck through it.

It's basically hit or miss with the HD Collection. The games look pretty at 60 FPS, but there's noticeable glitching in some instances, and the sound quality in MGS 2 isn't up to par with the PS2 release. I still have yet to complete any of the games from it.

I still have all my PS2 era versions of the games. Shame Document of MGS2 did so bad, since we could of gotten more of those type of informational/model viewer discs.

HD version is good and all, and improved frame frate, but it's the game in that set with the most bugs.

Does it? The only big I found is the, ironically, bugs in the Fortune cutscenes disappear and reappear. And for me getting the razor doesn't shave snakes beard.

The codec is painfully slow loading but that's across MGS2&3 right?

One of my biggest problems is MGS3s intro video isn't properly synced, it partially ruins my enjoyment of it. Also graphically MGS3 is off concerning the filters. There are some scenes with missing foliage which makes the original better looking in some regards

I'm just going from my experience of playing it now, but I remember there are other glitches too. Like Solidus's eye being seen under the patch. I don't remember any in MGS3.

I still need to get the dog tags, and do the VR missions. And from Ryan said, it's next to impossible.

I said it was next to impossible for mortals who can't plat MGR, so it doesn't apply to you. :lol

I got the plat twice on 2 separate accounts, that makes me mighty. Or pathetic. :slap
