I thought this entire conversation was just people expressing their opinions without any intention to convert. I started and ended civil new guy got his feeling hurt. I am cool with the fact that he is excited about Metal Gear Conviction.

I don't think anyone ever said that didn't like Hayter.

Compared to his previous ones? PW is the worst of all, followed by MGS4, either dull & monotonous lines or completely overacted, uncomfortable to hear voice.

The tapes were the worst.



Those couple of lines in the trailer were better than what he did in PW.

Seriously, I like that game a lot but his voice was almost painful to hear.

And Gasper keeps spouting off on "Sutherland is a breathe of fresh air" which leads me to believe he's sick of Hayter.

The original Metal Gear Solid is the entire reason voice acting is even a serious aspect of games these days and thats thanks to Hayter and gang. Denying that is denying Metal Gears legacy.

I could have rolled with Bale's Batman if he kept his Begins' voice, not his TDKR voice.

I prefer his MGS2 voice, but the choice in making it deeper was never his.

And I disagree. I think Metal Gear Solid was more than just voice acting. It had great gameplay, some of the best boss fights ever in gaming, and awesome story. Thats why I said I think Metal Gear os bigger than Hayter, but that might have gone over your head.
