Seriously though, some Disney movies are so inappropriate for kids . Bambi and Fox and The Hound made me so depressed as a young child.

I'd argue there are other things more inappropriate in those movies than that, like the fact that Simba and Nala were probably siblings but you don't pick up on that as a child and those movies taught me about loss and other stuff in a very sentient manner.

It's a theory I read once, since the alpha male lion mates with all the females of the pride, there's a big chance Nala was Simba's half-sister
