Whaaaaat...? The guy simply done goofed with one photo and now suddenly everyone's going nuts and calling out each others "internet credibility" (hah!) I don't care about anything that has little to no relevance to GZ or TPP. For all the flak I got for my long posts, I'm surprised that folks could tolerate this amount of (hilariously unnecessary) drama that's pretty much irrelevant to the thread topic. For the record, I couldn't care less about who's at fault. Just let it die, keep stuff on-topic and move on with your life.

Personally never cared for those long-drawn MGS theory videos. I'm not one to delve into too much speculative details (especially ones that are focusing on the narrative) as I'd rather avoid any potential spoilers. I also don't like to hype myself up with unrealistic expectations which those kinds of videos tend to spur on. Aside from the occasional theory write-ups, forum discussions are actually more interesting for me because you find yourself getting into an organic discussion with someone else on the same topic. But hey, that's just me.

You know what, man? You're absolutely right, and I should have known better than to engage in an argument like this :lol :duff

And pturtle, I reaaaally can't stand you and I know that the feeling is mutual. That will probably never change. But, since we both live in the small neighborhood of Forest Hills, let's just metaphorically shake hands and put this **** to rest. Just in case we ever bump into each other at a bus stop or at Key Food - it'd be better for both of us to avoid any unpleasantries.

I apologized!

Flooding this place with Pokemon gifs would be much better in my opinion :lol

Holy crap, I never knew you lived that close.

We could actually stalk each other in real life :lol

I still haven't actually played this game yet, due to the price not dropping at all

Looks like it'll be the inevitable GZ&TTP bundle for me

In all honesty, when MGS4 first came out and played it, I didn't like the changes to that but I grew to like them in the end

You've made a wise decision. Both Ryan and I regret having spent money on GZ (but, Ryan more than me because he bought it twice :monkey3). I'm actually really surprised that there hasn't been a price drop of any kind. I would have expected it to go for free on PS Plus by now.

Yup bought it twice, didn't like it at all and you all know how big of a MGS fan I am. I've already deleted the game. Should have spent the money on Final Fantasy X / X2 HD Collector's Edition instead. :lol

The gameplay is not without it's merits but the aiming system is an unnecessary tweak, the music is bland, the story is flat, mean spirited and to quote my friend who bought a PS4 just to play GZ and Tomb Raider "Both games have lost their identity."

Good for you if you liked Ground Zeroes, but I want a game that makes me smile, the kind that I would get all giddy about while having drinks with friends.

You know what game makes me smile, get all giddy, and is just absolutely fun to play? MGS 2. It never took itself seriously, and isn't "in your face" about its themes. I always got the impression, that GZ was trying too hard to prove itself as being a seriously dark/violent game.

Well I loved the aiming system, it's harder but you get used to it and makes the headshots all the more rewarding.

The story I liked for what it was, a teaser, a prologue or whatever you want to call it, unlike Solidus I think the story feels natural and it doesn't try to be dark, it's just dark because it's not being simplistic in the themes like the previous games were, it's effective in hooking you up to the plot, but, it isn't much.

I gotta say though, the short length works in favor of the tone, while I like the dark tone, if this was a full game I'd be bored and depressed by it, it needs levity, which seems TPP is adding that.

The gameplay is all sorts of fun, but having seen all the features TPP includes that GZ doesn't, only reassures me that this was a money grab to pay for the fancy Fox engine.

I liked it, but I'm taking a stand in not paying for it, because it's not worth $30, maybe $10, tops.
