Which is?

All the info just posted, and the only thing you decide to respond to is a sentence from my post that you don’t agree with, whats the point of your brilliant observation, to start an argument?

:moon
No argument is being made as I didn't make any point contradicting you I'm just solely point out a sentence that possibly represent you and the way you judge and/or rate a game and we are speaking of a heavily story drive game like mgs. From what we have seen, the graphic looks great (perfect? May be in PC. We'll see) and gameplay seems amazing no doubt (perfect? No first hand experience so who knows), so I find it irrational to say something is (or will be, in this case) great just from presumption especially when the game doesn't have a release date. I'm happy for you seeing how much value and support you have for it, I just hope the game will live up to your expectation when you have actually played it :wink1:

Hey now that's just a bit low. There's nothing wrong about a GAMER praising a game for its GAMEPLAY elements. you know? Especially for something like MGS which isn't always just about the story but also how fun and immersive the gameplay can be (hence why Snake Eater is still my top favorite since I thought it had the best balance between story and gameplay).

Absolutely, that's why people are still going for MP on PW and enjoying it for what it is but to saying a game is "great" basing solely on a shown gameplay is .... something. I'm not calling out names or anything, no?

Well, I have technically played the first part of the game (a game that I thought was great) where most of the core mechanics will be exactly the same and that game barely had any story what so ever. TPP is only expanding on that gameplay, so I am justified in making that statement.

It is possible for a game with a lackluster story to still be great, look at some of the Hitman games for example. I understand that MGS is a story driven game, but MGSV is shaping up to be far different from the rest of the games in the series, hence the split in the fan base.

Still don’t know why you felt the need to tell me what kind of gamer I am, thats pretty weird if you ask me, I could probably tell you what kind of gamer you are, but whats the point? :lol

Gameplay and mechanics wise the game is outstanding. Shooting the guys as they ran had them fall so realistically.

Story wise it's damn short but the side missions should offer some extra meat.

I never played Peace walker. I have it on the PS3 collection but found it tedious, don't like how they continued the story on a handheld device when all others have been console.

So I generally know what's going on but miss a little. Gonna have to get used to Sutherland as BB. At first it was like playing as a different character considering how much the voice was a part of the character, especially with MGS and the long cutscenes.

At a second go at the assassination mission which is damn hard. I managed to get a B rank but I'll try to improve on that. I sniped one guy then during the slo mo sniped the other :rock

I'm guessing the two "top secret eyes only" missions are the DLC Raiden and Solid Snake ones?

They showed that a different route and some pretty cool things happened. Also they gave a glimpse of infiltrating other players bases which looked amazing. You should definitely check it out.

Yea those are the only two “secret missions” in the game.

I hope theres more assassination missions added into TPP, I got a Hitman level of satisfaction from assassinating those two solderers.

Yea, they ended it right when the other player arrives to defend his base, looks really fun, and I love that you can steal things from other peoples base to add to your own.

I hope that MP is separate and doesn't affect your single player, because it will be a hassle to defend you base the whole time :lol

Good point, but it’ll also make me care more :lol

It would be awesome if you can bring at least a friend along to invade players bases.

All the more reason to get into Peace Walker multiplayer before they off it for good :lol.

It would be cool if KojiPro releases another "Metal Gear Saga" demo disk with a beta on MGO, like they did back in 2008 with MGS 4.

Y u so crul? I hav no ps3 no mo :gah: :monkey2

It would be even more awesome, to gather a group of friends, and go around ****ing up everybody's bases :rotfl

Once they on fire and crumbling.... "We're done" *everybody jumps off the base* :lol
