The cut 51 ending really is no resolution at all, even if it was finished I gather. Despite what I think of Kojima, he always produced a quality game... but this is a complete mess.

It brings closure to a couple characters, and supposedly would have been a huge cinematic boss battle, something that was really lacking from the game. There's also a bunch of scenes that didn't make it into the game, and I remember an interview Kojima did saying we'd be returning to Camp Omega, that certainly didn't happen. Definitely seems like the game was rushed out.

This doesn't feel like a MGS game. The most ridiculous thing I've seen so far, was when Skull Face was giving a speech and Big Boss was silent for 15 whole minutes. That's not Big Boss. He's not supposed to be a mute like Gordon Freeman. The Snakes are very talkative, even if they have to echo the last word in the form of a question.

I get the feeling that this was supposed to be a completely different game, but Kojima was forced to turn it into a MGS title.

I've gotta say, though, I like the concepts that are presented in MGS V. It's just the way it's presented that's in poor taste.

*2 men on a jeep facing each other.

*awkward silence*

*Sins of the Father plays <whoaaa haooooo.. WORDS THAT KILL!>

*Player rotates the camera 360 degrees like a madman while the song plays.

That's was the most unintentionally funniest scene in the game. :rotfl

I thought I was the only one to take notice on how dead that dumb scene was :lol

The whole parasite thing is probably the weakest crutch of the series, way more than nanos... at least that was pre established in MGS1 and just expanded on.

Yeah it was so embarrassing, up there with the Johnny/Meryl scene.

The parasite thing was total sci-fi, it makes MGS1 and 2 look grounded in real world science by comparison. It's absolutely absurd.

And the parasites are supposed to explain the Cobra unit... I like having a scientific explanation for everything in the series and that was the last Sci-fi piece to really need an answer... and we get dumb parasites...

When did MGS become Resident Evil?

OMG, I just realized that this would make a great RE game! :rotfl

Btw, did you get the thing about Paz yet? I'm surprised no one on the board has brought it up yet.

I did... meh. Just more crap to confuse you, but it's just a hallucination.

you should probably spoiler tag that, that was one of my favorite parts in the game.

That's why I said it vaguely, I doubt anyone would catch it. Tagged nonetheless.

I watched all the scenes online, and most people think it was an illusion too... due to his head trauma.

Ah got it. I'll just look it up on Youtube. :lol

I'm here bashing it, and I ordered his figure :lol stupid completist.

I actually liked his design to a degree, and he could of easily been someone else with the same powers.

I'd rather they not explain it like how Raven's body disappears in MGS1. Why explain it when the explanation seems to have come from a 6 year old? :rotfl

Wait, are you getting the $100 PAK D-Dawg as well?

I was actually talking to Plisken, he’s pretty much gave away the end of that side op.

Oops.

But I don't even mention names or anything, just people's opinions :lol
