I really hate that you're forced into being invaded by other players, regardless of being online or not. I made a lot of GMP last night from doing my own invasions though, 1,000,000+GMP in a few minutes. I had a guy try to invade me, and I jumped into the game and killed him with an RPG... plus I had a guy jump into my invasion, and I waited him out on one of the connecting bridges, and caught him on one of the upper decks looking for me. It's pretty easy to spot someone since they don't move like an AI.

I pretty much stop playing the game after I beat the main story. Must be a burn out from all the repetition. I'm now playing my PS3, digging up some old games.

I can totally see this being the least replayable MGS game down the road, along with PW.

I'm trying to 100% it, but what I do after that is anyone's guess... I'll definitely not watch cutscenes ever again, just like PW.

No thanks. I'll just put away the game until it feels fresh again, then maybe I'll go for the plat. Can't wait for the Uncharted collection around the corner, now that's fun!

Not liking it? :lol

This doesn't feel like a MGS game. The most ridiculous thing I've seen so far, was when Skull Face was giving a speech and Big Boss was silent for 15 whole minutes. That's not Big Boss. He's not supposed to be a mute like Gordon Freeman. The Snakes are very talkative, even if they have to echo the last word in the form of a question.

I get the feeling that this was supposed to be a completely different game, but Kojima was forced to turn it into a MGS title.

I've gotta say, though, I like the concepts that are presented in MGS V. It's just the way it's presented that's in poor taste.

Boy, are you going to be pissed off at the ending :lol

I was dying to mention this when i first got to it.

You are walking with Skullface for a few minutes, then in the car. Not uttering a single word to him. Then the car journey is so long that Skull faces speech finishes, so then they play a song while Boss and Skullface stare in to each others eyes from 2 ft away. THEN the song ends and its just the sound of the engine and gravel until the scene ends.

I'm currently in the process of platinuming the game. This is one of the most addictive games I've ever played, but as it stands, this is my least favorite console Metal Gear.

With the sparse story, dead motherbase, tedious, repetitive side ops, mediocre boss battles, and horrible pacing, I have no choice to but to rank this last of the main 5 games. A lot of it just feels unfinished, a ton of scenes from the trailers never made it in the game, an important part of the narrative was cut and placed on a Blu ray for us to watch, a ton of filler (especially in chapter 2) to make the game seem like its packed with more content than it actually has.

The gameplay is the best in the series hands down though, the voice acting from almost everyone except Huey's VO was top notch, for an open world game the graphics are amazing (except for the water and fire) and I absolutely loved the beginning and ending of the game. Overall I give the game a 8/10, but that can possibly change once I replay the main missions with all my upgrades and won't be forced to do side ops.

I definitely think whatever happened behind the scenes with Konami and Kojima played a major part in all the cut content.

I can't wait :lol. I'm on Mission 31 now.

Yup! It was so disappointing. Even when Big Boss was in MGS 4, he wouldn't shut up. I have to question is this is the same character in MGS V.

I think the unfinished fluff would have fleshed things out, and the pacing would have been better.
