You can free-roam any time you want in African and Afghanistan. Just check your Side-ops list, and the options should be there.

Yes you do. You can drop at Africa, Afghanistan or MB at any moment.

yeah i know you can free roam at any time. what i meant was will there be no more side ops missions? or will i just ride around, infiltrate and shoot enemies just for the hell of it.

The story's over after Mission 46. All that's left after that is building your base, and S ranking the missions...

Allthough i liked the ending,a very surprising twist and makes sense with the poor character development,it was the biggest dissappointment a MGS fan could have.Last game in the series and you don't get to play as Big Boss. It's like...You don't really care how it turned out afterwards,it just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth to be honest. It's MGS2 all over again.Way to cheat MGS fans after a long wait.
Makes sense why Miller was so bitter through the entire game, but how cool would it be to see Miller and Big Boss together again in a last game?

That's pretty much how I feel, too. It would've been much better if it was actually Big Boss, and not some Medic that I possibly Fulton'd from Peace Walker :slap. But, I'd say the twist in this game was much worse than MGS 2, because Raiden at least had a very interesting backstory

What really sucks, is that with all of the plot holes and cut content, we'll never have any closure for MGS V. This is it for MGS...

Tal lujuria por la venganza, QUIEEEEEEEEEN?

No, it's worse than MGS2 because unlike MGS2, this doesn't have a point. The twist is there just because.

Yeah that's what sucks.Last game in the series, and you play as his double.I liked the Quarantine plattform mission, good cutscenes and it finally felt like a MGS game,so real and intense. But in the end, none of that mattered to me when you're not Big Boss.I would be fine with it if Kojima planned another one with Big Boss,or even a remake of the MG games in zanzibar. This just isnt a good closure of the series.

With all the content that was left out, that might have added alot to the story, you think that might be the reason for Kojima's departure?Kojima wanted to postpone the game to add more to it,but they didn't see eye to eye.A real shame if that's the case.

Just watched Episode 51,would be a Boss Fight that should have taken the place of Mission 50.And maybe kojima wanted to?

I've actually stopped playing this now, i finished Chapter 1 and just can't see it through to the end.

It all seems like a big missed opportunity and its such a shame, really.
