I don't think they were actual wraith's but people saying other people look like wraiths. I'd have to look it up to be sure but really I'm just reaching since I'm not all there on Elf as wraith thing either. :lol

Got ya. I don't blame ya. Makes it all a little easier to roll with. :lol

So last night I get to a mission where you have to eliminate 3 Ghul nests and at the last one a Matron shows up and due to lack of competent strategy I died. :lol No biggie, but what my problem was, after I died, why did some Uruks get promoted and become more powerful. They had nothing to do with this sequence of events?

On the bright side, I found my first War Chief and killed him. :orc :stake

I believe theres always an orc power struggle going on during play, once you died it updated you on how that played out.
I died on that ghul nest mission as well, that matron takes a lot to bring down all the while surrounded by 30 frenzied ghuls. I hated it.

Guys what I did was I would build up my combo meter and do the Wraith ground slam. That takes out a pretty good chunk of her life without too much trouble.

Thanks for the lore issue answers - interesting to see

No problem. :duff

I killed, essentially every Warchief and Captain in Udun, 2 minutes later 6 unknown Uruks stepped in, is there no end to these pesky Orcs :rotfl

Now I'm just gonna brand them all ....mwahahahaha

It is pretty much an endless cycle. :lol

Since this is supposed to take place between the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings it would mean Wraith Celebrimbor has been hanging around for like 4700 years or so just waiting for someone to possess. That and Gollum's involvement are the two things that bother me most. But oh well, it's still fun, there has to be some way to explain Talion's abilities. :lol

I don't have the brand ability yet, how much longer do I have to wait? :impatient: :panic: :lol

Gollums inclusion has puzzled me since I saw the trailer at SDCC. It's a little early I think before he gets caught by Sauron and gives up Bilbo's name and location.

You have to wait until the second half of the game. I just got it last night.

It killing me reading some of these posts, PS3 version out in November.... maybe eventually I'll get the PS4, but untill then I'll milk my current for all I can. Gotta save for Balrog & Smaug.

Ok so update from my issue with Ushgol and his mission not showing up on the map, though the game said he was in the stronghold area......

After I progressed thru the game (about 50% complete now), it just literally now showed up as a mission....wow that took forever to unlock....of course, other Warlords have now been promoted......! Guess not a glitch, but punishment for letting him escape.

On a side note, for a pair of Turtle Beach's $99 Stealth 400 headphones..wow, game sounds great

When I went and picked up the new Sherlock Holmes game the other day I snagged some of the PS Gold Headphones. They've got some great sound to them with 7.1 Surround. Game does sound great in those.

Mine were great too; they lasted about six months, then refused to recharge/work - tried every troubleshooter option. Just in case, hang onto your receipt

Yeah, that would suck. That's the great thing about technology it works for as long as it feels like it. :lol
