The "shipping soon" status update when the figure isn't expected to ship at that time is a glitch. It's possible this could still ship sometime in July, but we'll have some advance warning, as all of these figures release in HK before they get to North America. Usually it's about a month from seeing the HK pics to stuff being shipped on this end.

OK, thanks. I hadn't checked this thread in a while, so I wasn't sure if it had been released in HK yet (I didn't think it had). I got excited there for a minute!

Ok fine. I have Cap AoU arriving today, Avengers Loki next Saturday and Rocket and Groot the following Saturday (my deliveries only happen on Saturday's, not some weird coincidence) so I guess I can wait a while. You're welcome :hi5:

:woo :hi5:

:lol Hey and congrats on the figures you got coming :duff

Might as well pick something up in the meantime ... who knows when this starts to ship ha

I may pull the trigger on Gamora and the Batman 1/6 Arkham figure but who knows. With all these delays and push backs it messes up my schedule, even XM Thanos was pushed back two months!

Yeah, "Item Shipping Soon" mostly means they are about to process a payment. It's a good indicator of when your payment is about to go through (within hours, usually) - the only exception to it REALLY meaning what it says is when the item is in stock and it is the final payment. I've been monitoring it for a while myself and this seems to be the way their system works.

I hope we see those Mark III diecast pics soon, though, then we'll know for sure where the approximate US release date will fall.

It also said shipping soon when I bought AoU Cap (which I should have in my hands in the next hour!) a few months back and paid in full via PayPal. Even though it definitely wasn't what I'd call soon.

I really wish they could at least add a shipping cost soon! I really want to pre-order the standard edition but I have to use Pay Pal and that's not an option to use until they can calculate a total price. I've made every pre-order with Pay Pal and paid in full but this is the first one that I am having to wait and wait just to order it. Shouldn't it basically weigh the same as the Mark 42 and 43? How do they not know shipping costs yet?

Weighing "basically the same" is not a real thing. You need exact weight. And given different bases, accessories ect you can't even really guess. They would be guessing. Can you tell me the exact weight? And size of the box?

No but you would think they could get that information from Hot Toys. Also, their shipping on every regular Hot Toys is a flat 10 across the board as long as it's not over sized or a two pack. So why is it such a stretch to think or hope the diecast figures couldn't be similar as well? I know they need the specifics, it's simply impatience talking cause a lot of us just really want the figure to come out already.
