Ok, so currently:

HT Shipments: Jan/Feb
DCD Shipments: May

Given Joker's delays, it's looking like maybe March/April is more likely for HT shipments, and if DCD follows, that'd be more like June/July.

Hopefully Batman isn't as delayed, or not even delayed at all, as Joker.

It all depends, is Joker delayed to work kinks out of the production process with PERS and stuff like that, or is he delayed because it takes a long time and HT just didn't estimate enough time when they projected it's release, if it's bugs and they fix them, then Batman should be smoother, if it's just general time frame, then Batman will probably be about a month or two later as well.

seriously that sculpt looks so silly. i dont know why but i see a little bit of stay puft in there, around the eyes......

I don't claim to know anything, it's all just speculation based on what I observe.

It does look sort of odd. Someone said this earlier, but the eyes do look a tad too big. It may just be that particular photo, because on hot toys website they look fine.

The eyes are wider to maximize use of PERS to give more places to position the eyes, if he was squinting more, the PERS would kind of be a waste for the limited places you could move the eyes and have him look right.

Some poses for the eyes will look good because of how much white does or doesn't show, others may look to big.

For instance, I love them in this shot, they look very intense.

Absolutely, but depending on what people want to charge, it may cost you as much as just getting the whole figure, might be cheaper just to get the whole thing, keep what you want and sell off the rest.

Yeah, definitely. I'm sure there are alot of people who are contemplating the same thing. I bet the prices for the heads, mouth pieces, and sticky bomb gun will be pretty outrageous. Your best bet is what Maulfan suggested. Buy the figure, keep the head and sticky gun, sell everything else (which is still essentially a WHOLE figure). You're not being too demanding either considering you just want one head and accessory. I'd say your chances of selling everything else for a higher price is better than most others because they'll most likely want more accessories than you do.

Just curious, what value is the head alone to you, do you want it lit or not, because I have a feeling the light source may actually come from the neck and not be self contained in the head, in which case you'd need the DX body as well.

That's a great point. Though with Hot Toys capabilities (Terminator figures with light up eyes) I don't see why they couldn't make it so that the light source came from the head. It'll be interesting to see how it works. I remember seeing that cord along the back of his neck in one of the displays but that could have been for that prototype on the display itself.

We actually recently discussed the "cord" incident about a week ago.

I received an HT Iron Man last week and I didn't realize the way they did the light up eyes on it is a light inside the ball joint of the neck with a transparent piece inside the head, works great and I figure they'll do the same for Sonar head on Batman because his head's too small to house the electronics, and Terminator had a sculpted neck, it was a fuller head unlike Batman.

So odds are, Batman will be the same way as Iron Man, which would mean needing the body too.

As for the cord, someone pointed out and looking at the picture closely, I agree now, what looked like a cord is really the spine plating of the neck just catching the light in a way that makes it look like it's a cord, really freaky optical illusion, but definitely not a cord.

I didn't know they did a cord. Interesting. If you only want the head you could have the eyes painted possibly.

No, they didn't do a cord, that's the thing. Most of us thought it was a cord when the picture surfaced, upon closer look, there's a spin plating to the back of the TDK suit neck, and the light in the photo made the left side of the plating look shinier and differnt in finish from the rest of the neck, so we all assumed with it being the figure with the sonar head on it, that this was a cord connecting the head to the battery, since the Predator bio maks works this way. Now we realize it's not a cord, so the more likely way the Sonar head lights is through the ball joint on the end of the neck post.
