One thing Medicom nailed is the belt buckle, its the correct size and shape. Hot Toys buckle looks terrible. Fat and wrong. If they fix nothing else I hope they fix that god damn belt.

I agree, but I hate the color on the Medicom belt. Looks cheap.

With all due respect, YellowJoshua, the Medicom is pretty good, but THIS is very accurate, lifelike, and AMAZING!:

Time and time again I am impressed with the accuracy of the HT v2 cowl sculpt:

Someone, (Yulli?), definitely did their homework!

the head still isn't smooth though like it should be. the suit stinks and the eyes look a bit freaky

again I think if we want HT to hear the recommendations someone needs to make sure that the same is being broadcast over in one of the Chinese forums. I seriously doubt we are influencing anyone here. I just can't imagine them reading this board when they already have several forums to keep up with in Asia.

I suggest Maul sign up to those boards, he's the one that loves to analyze everything. It's doing nothing here except cover the same ground over and over and over and over and over on and on and on and on and on nononononon. We're only covering the same tracks for 222 pages now. It can't get any better than that.

just because the chinese dont speak english doesnt mean they're lacking in taste n critical thinking compared to you english speaking geeks. they might even be more picky over there. ever thought about that? last i check, hottoys is a hongkong company, not american. so you trust them to make cool toys for you, but somehow you think your inputs is more important than chinese's??? feeling a bit high and mighty, arent we?

relax, i'm sure there's a chinese version of maulfan in all of those chinese forums.

just saying that the opinion or majority of it may be different in those forums but there is no way of knowing and to ensure unless you start posting there as I doubt HT has time to read this forum. I think you need to relax cause I have no clue how you could read anything to reply like this?? especially since I AM CHINESE!

But seriously - I said I like the cowl - I've never had an issue with it
my issue is with the body / armour.
Medicom figure aside, the HT body is not accurate in terms of proportions and how it should look - a mesh suit with armour plates on top

@Geil: just saying that toy geeks are generally the same everywhere. i bet my armpit hair that the chinese geeks in their forums are just as nitpicky as the best of us here. what imperfections we can notice, i'm sure they can as well.

I dont understand why in any of the ones on display they are not using his neutral expression. I think it is their best one. They have the angry expression and his between sentence expression all the time.

Honestly yeah it looks bad there but no one is going to pose it like that and honestly the V1 when posed like that looked HUGE. So when posed properly with the right face and head posed in the right direction. Also with the stomach not sticking out and pushed in along with a new cape this figure will look great.

High and mighty? How did you come to that conclusion?... it's not about me the majority have been feeling the same way apart from the Hot Toys fan boys. They would praise it no matter what. The same thing will probably happen if very little changes are made then 1 - 2 months after they own it they'll be moaning again how off/buff it looks. Hello v1 talk hello? apparently some people need reminded about this or they purposely choose to forget about the past.

Nearly every post for 222 pages. A discussion is fine but for the love of god cover something new. Or don't cover it at all until something is new to talk about. I love how some twist it to suit their own needs.

I know when you look at the number of ppl involved in this hobby you will likely find the same opinion popping up but culturally any country is different enough to potentially have a different distribution of opinions and how aggressive or not that is expressed. As I said, the only way to increase the chances that HT hears our opinion is to post in a forum they monitor and not just to expect that do this one. Too bad my Chinese is kindergarden level so I really can't read those forums nor write in it
