Wow, I can't believe it's coming so quick. My Urban Collector shipment is still a long ways off, but it'll be fun seeing all the pictures! So many possibilities with the various heads/pers/expressions...

A whole month early? That's so unlike Hot Toys. But it's very cool, nonetheless.
I wonder if the figure has gone through its final revisions (if any), because production should be ramping up now if release is at this month's end.

I guess the V1 is now only good as an "expendable" piece for posing with the batpod and tumbler. Or something I could display in the living room with the DX in my bedroom. I tried selling my V1 at 3/4 the price but no one's buying. In stores in my country, even sales of the Medicom DK has also suffered. Wait a little longer, and it'll probably be selling half its original price.

I want this guy,but I think I'll hold off until the DCD shipment.I think the pictures will hold me until May,and my DX Joker should suffice until then.After my pleasant surprise with the Joker,I have to ask,is anyone else here excited to see the packaging for this guy?

There's just nothing that came our right on the v1 Batman that isn't identical or improved on with the DX. With Joker, there were differences in his clothing items and room for opinion as to what you like or don't like, with Batman, there's a limit to what you can swap out, and anything you can take away from the v1 and bring to the DX, in my opinion, is inferior, head, neck, belt, gun. It's all the same or better.

Nope, not until people starts getting it, then presumably, someone will try and share if it works or not. That or takes a photo of the neck post where we can see if it's a larger ball joint or not.

I never tried to remove the head my v1 . Does anyone know if just the head comes off or the The head and neck in one piece ? I ask this because when you see the picture of the dx head , it's only the head and not the neck coming off .

The v1 neck and head are 2 separte pieces as well.

I was hoping to do that too. The only problem I see is that the light feature may mean that the way you connect the head is different and therefore putting the night vision head onto the old body would be impossible. It may also affect even putting the PERS head onto it too.

Let's hope hot toys does the right thing by us. I mean I already baught two bat man versions already. This should be a gift to the fans who purchased the first. The head has to fit the original suit. It better!!!
