Yeah I need a breather too really didnt buy much during boxing day and my LA trip but a new LCD before Xmas and I just dropped more $$ at Toys2 for some accessories, simpsons Dios for KrisKringle and a IM M1.....JCFB seems immanent next week. so gotto recover for DX02s and IM BD in Feb wow and now IM Tny and T2 Arnie in April

anyone lately check the paint app those photos of the paint peeling at leg and crotch area on the DX02 Bats? the photos are scary i know crow gave his thoughts on it but does anyone else mind to offer suggestions?

I've never ordered anything from Toys 2. I'm assuming they are pretty reliable, correct?

Id say yes. The one figure I did order from toys2 was neatly packaged and took about 4 days to arrive. But ive stopped ordering from them because they tend to overprice some of their items, and they charge me $25.99 for shipping!

Very, if shipping didn't cost as much as it does I'd use them more often. They ship things in very sturdy, heavy duty cardboard to protect it, they've got great customer service, would highly recommend them. I've gotten every Dark Knight figure from Hot Toys through them.

well same goes for any great deals you guys find in the US. Usually they all get killed by shipping and brockage and Duty coming up north here :'( So for me it's all Toys2 now. Do keep in mind that Toys2 shipment is at least 2nd in line right after the HK preorders and tends to be cheaper than the first wave eBay stuff only lagging behind by roughly a month. Oh I am not sure how willing those eBayers are to replace defective parts though

That's why I don't buy this stuff off eBay unless I miss it and it's long sold out, I don't have any eBay sellers I use that sell this stuff that I can trust to cover me with probelms, Toys2 always get my back.

I know that shipping is sometimes the deal breaker,but if you have a good retailer that stands behind their product.then Toys2 is the way to go.I had to send back a batpod that the lights didn`t work on and they replaced it no extra charge to me,and I have been with them ever since because of the good customer service that they have.sure I could probably get stuff cheeper somewhere else,but would I get the same treatment? just my two cents.

I'm waiting for a 2nd opinion myself. I'm guessing it's too early because people have just gotten theirs and have not fully touched/used/tested/abused/played their figures yet. Because of the horrible peeling scare, their figures went from box straight to display shelf and sealed it shut. I believe the peeling is not only caused by overhandling but also by environmental factors.

All this talk about the peeling will not change a thing for me. I already paid 10% last August for the DX so there's no turning back now. I'm hoping that since it's due to arrive here on February/March, I'll be getting a 2nd batch when the problem hopefully was already fixed by HT.

Thanks guys, I might give them a shot shortly. Yeah, that shipping does seem high but I don't mind the extra $12 if it means I can get this DX three months sooner than the May shipping date from Most Wanted Collectibles.

On a side note. I have never had anything from Toys2 stopped at customs. I have no idea why?

I have used others with lower shipping costs, but they always get stopped by customs and end up costing more to be released.

I'm so in love with the new suit. It looks so phenomenal! And V1 looks really ace with the sonar eyes head and with the gun you can just hide the bulkiness of the chest.

Alright I mentioned this a few pages back with cr0ws pics (which had the same head problem as above) and brushed it off because he said the pic was at an angle. This new pic however is definitely looking straight ahead and the head is definitely flat on the right side and rounded on the left side.

i've seen some major errors on the cowl at some of the pics. have thought always it's maybe a photo-effect, but when I've seen this:

look at the ears and the upper side of the head. i really think that there's a problem in the production or something. first the rubber/color problem, then some big errors on the cowl, what next?

I do hope they'll fix this until I'll get my figure with the DC shipment.

Hot damn I didn't see those. This sucks. I wonder if this has a lot to do with having the cut out for the removable faceplates. Not enough support or something. It's definitely not just the funny angles and lighting.

edit: What's also weird is that it seems to be the same side in every pic. The right seems to be flattened while the left bubbles out.

I have only briefly considered getting the Batman DX but I must admit this pic...

... really makes me want to get both DX's. I'm really impressed by how well they work in scale with each other. I was worried the Joker wouldn't look right next to Bats since he has mutiple layers of clothing and would end up looking bulkier.
