all I can say is hopefully those who order theirs from ebay seller will not have a problem. And maulfan thank god we are ordering from toys2 because they are awesome with this kind of stuff.

Ok, so I guess quite a few people are getting the peeling of the rubber. But is it safe to say that there are some perfect DXs that are without any of the ear or rubber peeling issue though?

well I do agree with maulfan that no matter what the peeling issue will be a problem with every single one and has to do with the paint being used. This will not change until they change production and recall.

Well, with the cowl, it's an issue that is readily apparent and there have been photos of many that don't seem to have this problem, but the paint peeling could be a ticking time bomb. The figure has only been out 10 days.

Some of HT's initial batch Appleseed figures saw no paint peeling at all, but there were enough to convince HT of a re-issue later on (that fixed the paint peel).

I got mine from a reseller on ebay. Will have to check when its here. Sure its gonna ruin my day if mine have issues

Crow and OMG, I guess you are the few lucky ones that has already got this fig on hand, any signs of the rubber cracking and/or peeling?

Well, maybe HT will hault the rest of the production runs and deal with it like John Connor. It seems when the HK folks complain enough they go back. Not really looking forward to a delay in getting him, but if it means a better product I'll deal, but tougher when the in hand pics start and you expect getting yours isn't far away.

This has been rushed to the market. Plain and simple.

Update on Hot Toys MMS DX Batman Figure



Hello,

We had a large order in with a distributor to coincide with the Hong Kong release. We have learned that this distributor has gone bankrupt and is no longer fulfilling orders. We will not be receiving this Batman figure before it’s US release (now expected in May). We want you to know that you will for sure receive a Batman figure, but it will be on our regular release. We will refund any extra money paid for these early buy orders and you are welcome to cancel the order if you do not wish to wait.

Hmm...I'll probably hang on to my DCD order and wait until May too.

On a sidenote, if I order anything from Toys2 in the future, will it get held up in customs since I live in Minnesota?

Looks like I'll be waiting another 4 months in the hope those shipments aren't so plagued with problems.

Oh well, will open up some cash flow.
