where did you get it from irmoballen? and how bad is the sonar head? any pics?

I am getting my deluxe from Q shortly.

I haven't visited the thread in awhile, I seen the paint chip problem. What is going on with sonar eyes?

I'll say this, whatever went wrong, sure is consistent.

That's exactly why I'm not worried or mad about it. I'm sure they'll do the right thing and replace these. I'm just glad it was the initial shipment and not the big HK or DCD shipments.

Yep. I learned my lesson finding the smallest faults in my OC Batman and subsequently driving myself crazy. And my friends are going to be taken back - they've never seen a HT figure and I just started collecting a few weeks ago.

Many of the initial HK/Toy Hunters wave figures are coming out with misshapen heads, specifically, the left side is all slanty and off.

These images really show it off.

I also PSed this one because it was a nice, dead on front shot where you could see the differences in each side.

Holy crooked heads Batman! Ugh.... I hope mine doesn't have this issue, it is really obvious from the pics.

I think it's a 50/50 split personally.

We see some off ones, but then we also see ones like this.

As long as mine comes out like that in the head and no flaking paint, I'll be happy, but I'm not worried that I'm going to get a bad one, just know I have to check and see if it's a bad one when I get it, but I know Eric'll take care of me if it is.

I have noticed with that pic that the rear side shows the horn in its bent angle! Yeah this is becoming a major problem with many of the first batch DX batmans.

I haven't seen a photo yet where it wasn't present. It's ranged from minimal, like in Crow's photos, to absurd like in the one photo that looks like it was smashed.

I see it now, though it wasn't apparent to me in full body shots like that as the closer images.

The good news is, the v1 head looked fine, or rather, symetrical , so whatever happened with the DX, it might be easily dealt with or might drag out, but ultimately, it should be correctable where we all end up with the figure we want in the end.

Unless I'm missing it. Has HT even addressed the head in any of their responses? Or has it all been about peeling issues?

I get that, but I also question how flawed that 30th image is. Are there marks, yes, but it doesn't look like rot or decay of paint or anything, just looks like small marks and only one that might even really be noticable at actual size. To me, complaining about those marks seems equal to complain if your Joker has the "tears" painted heavier than someone elses.
