So I assume the DCD version has fixed the leakage problem. After the whole fiasco, I'm still on the fence about getting this but lets say I got one of these and it's one of the early figures and has the leakage problem, if I sent it into HT whats the chance they'll replace it with one with the DCD armor that doesn't leak?

I think that's what's been happening yes but why wouldn't you jut get the DCD version to begin with?

I knew with all the problems this had waiting was what needed to be done. needless to say I was right.

I didn't need it right away.. i was all batmaned out anyway. I like this thing don't get me wrong but it felt more like a chore to buy it. Like. Oh damn.. that batman finally came out. Man... i need to throw away 200 bucks now don't I?

I do think this is great but would like it a lot more i reckon if i never got V1.

Just ensure what your buying is from the dcd batch and you will have nothing 2 worry about, the figure is finally perfect and defect free.

I have my DX2 TDK figure and check all the parts and recheck, looks perfect to me and I have the TDK V1 the only diference is the plate chest is hard plastic after that is really nice figure.

If you want to play it safe than pick it up from the authorized distributers in NA listed in their website. Of cause there are quite a few reputable dealers ppl mention here that can be trusted as well
btw who was the dealer that exchanged the leaky ones but HT was not willing to replace his at the end? Would he consider parting them out? I could use an extra head
and sticky gun and what not. Possibly even the DX02 chest plate to mod my V1

So where can I go to order one? I thought I had one on pre-order with BBTS, I canceled it originally when the leakage became an issue. Thought I pre-ordered it again though after I found out it got fixed.

I was in Jacksonville, FL all week for work, and now it's sold out there.

Think they will get another shipment?

Amazon has a few in stock, but, how do I know if they are the DC batch or not?

What a hassle for a figure.

AMEN BROTHA AGENT!!! PREACH ON! This whole affair has become a total nightmare. I just checked my tracking & was informed that "an issue has occured in shippment". I'm like...WHAT F@#*ING ISSUE!!! GIMMIE MY DAMN TOY.

Just picked mine up today.

Not as blown away as I was with DX Joker. The suit restricts the movement too much. Bats can't even make a right angle with his arm, with the weight of the sticky gun and the suit, it just plops right back down.

To me, that's more disappointing than any leakage. He's not even that poseable.

How do I know it's from the DCD batch though? Is there a difference in packaging that distinguishes a DCD figure form the HT one?

I honestly don't know. From what I remember about past DCD releases of Hot Toys' stuff, I believe they only ship out one wave and that's it.

I think the vast majority of retailers in the US are selling the DC shipment.

Well, i'm getting a little worried about my urban collector order. It says they've sold through their pre-orders online and my shipping status still hasn't changed

On the other hand, i did get around to making a sweet custom cape for my v1 in preparation for the (hopefully) upcoming new edition.

Thats what I thought and if I do get this, it will probably be on ebay and there is no way for me to know which shipment I got which is why I was wondering if I did get a version with leaky armor what the chances were of HT replacing it with DCD figure armor.

Does anyone know how much these figures or other hot toys figures that retail in the states for about $170-$190 go for in China? I can't seem to find anything online but I know someone headed out there as I type this up. I figure if they pick some stuff up I'll definitely save on $40 or so on shipping but has anyone actually purchased anything in the mainland and if so is it pretty much the same price?

Finally got the email from HT that they are willing to change my oiled up one.

How long does it normally take for em to send one? Anyone knows?
