Good news Batfreaks! In the latest MILK magazine they say that the armor shown right now is from the previous version. The suit will be newly designed but they don't have it ready right now (why did they announce it then?).

This makes absolutely perfect sense to me in fact I was going to post something suggesting this course of action at the time,but did nt bother.

I think Hot Toys credited us with a lot of intelligence here.In as much as we might realise that whilst they have the DX Dark Knight headsculpts and accessories ready,the bodysuits taking a bit longer to finalise.They d be aware that we re all chomping at the bit for details(Hence Wooksters comments that precipitated all this activity in the first place!)and so give us the perfect headsculpts with the V1 body.

Well they could've just as easily released pics of JUST those aspects. Instead of posting full on pics (if the suit in the official pics is not the new suit). Right?

Or maybe they released the pics of the perfect headsculpts with PERs and swapable faces along with semi-reworked body and completely unworked legs, so that they could impress us another month down the road with the completely reworked final version - with the full knowledge and expectation that we would nitpick the body to death.

If that is the case, it's really smart of them, because if/when they show us the even further improved body (and it exceeds our expectations), to go along with those amazing heads/faces and juicy accessories, we will REALLY go Hot Toys mad.

even then I guarantee at least one person complaining about something you'd need to be within a cm range to give a damn about, but yes if it gets any better than the DX it will be awesome. Upon getting those pics and specs I'll need some depends, a cryo chamber, and a new detolf, pronto.

I'm still not sure of this though, I think we need someone to check out milk magazine again for more details, because it could still be in reference to the chunky version we saw in the scans. No doubt the official pics have a new, slimmer suit, but what could they ADD to that? They'd have to be developing a completely different rubber suit because this is essentially just a slimmer V1 rubber body with improved chestplate and shoulderpads. I'm confused...maybe darren or someone with a milk can help out.

that gave me one of those inside laughs, you know the kind where you don't actually laugh but instead you just say "that's funny."

man some of those commercials started getting ridiculous, arms pulled off and what have you.

Moved from bashing the figure to bashing a website banner, some bored people without lives around here.

You're telling me! I was reading through this thread and it's like navigating a minefield. HT is raising the bar to INSANE levels for figures and people are STILL picking it apart. It just blows my mind.

We've come so far in the 1:6 world in just a few years, and now people are expecting their figures to look EXACTLY like a shrunken down actor. I mean, what's next? People are going to ask for the chests to move up and down and air to come out of the figures mouths? Figures that move on their own? Sweat? BLOOD?

It's just insane. This figure is a huge improvement on the last release, it's innovative, it comes with a lot of swag... It may not have a Wayne.. but c'mon guys... the last two figures came with heads... get a damn suit and make your Wayne already.

I just don't get the picking it apart mentality. Just be happy it looks enough like the actor, has great detail and doesn't cost $300. Take a look back at the figures of 5 years ago and just be happy with what you have.

That depth in the eyes (sitting back inside the cowl) really adds a lot to the figure.
